Am I late buying a pivx Huh
I see the lowest pivx price at 38k sat
Now it has gone up to 46k sat.
I'm afraid the price will get worse.
Please advise me, thank you.
Late? Are you serious, fella? Looking at PIVX historical price chart, it seems that it is right time for PIVX potential investors to buy more coins, hold them for a while (might be weeks or months) before selling them to take profits.

Very nice chart with interesting signals inside

I say that because the BTC Movement is still unstable.
That's what makes my doubts about buying Pivx.
Ok I'll buy a little in the price now.
Thanks for all the info.

There are actually 2 places to stake this coin:

LINK:
https://stakeunited.com

&

LINK:
https://pool.stakinglab.io

OR....you could not send your coins to someone else, and instead stake them yourself, thus earning all the income and keeping your coins safe!

(Seriously: the staking pool spam on this thread lately has been out of control. Unless you have a VERY low amount of PIVX, the risk of using a staking pool, where someone else has complete control over your assets, simply isn't worth it. PIVX is a proof-of-stake coin and is very easy to stake on your own computer.)

I love privacy coins. This one is staking in my wallot on the raspberry pi. Nearly no costs, just profit while staking. I cant`t wait for the new wallet with zPIV staking activated soon.

Help!  Error messages when I try to convert Zpiv back to Piv.
I have 43 denominations of 50 for 2150 total Zpiv.

How do I convert that back.  Every number I try to convert gives me an error message of one
kind or another.  What am I doing wrong?

All things should be test carefully on testnet and make sure they operate smoothly without technical issues before going to main net. It will be terrible if serious issues occur on main net.

Hello all,

I'm having issues setting up a masternode.

It previously worked and I'm searching forums and getting mixed answers around why it might not be working.

I originally had an OSX client as the main wallet synced to an ubuntu 'mn1' - this worked.

I later decommissioned the ubuntu and unlocked my tokens by deleting the mn1 entry in the masternodes.conf on the main wallet. Not sure if I needed to do anything else here but my tokens were unlocked.

I then created' mn2' on my mainwallet  (adding to the masternodes.conf as per the documentation) as well as setting a username and password for mn2 in pivx along with the following lines:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
listen=0
server=1
daemon=1
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=256

My 'mn2' is a windows host so I edited the pivx.conf after the pivx-qt wallet was synced and mirrored the username and password previously set on my mainwallet as well as adding the following  lines:

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
listen=0
server=1
daemon=1
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=256
masternode=1
externalip=
bind=
masternodeaddr=
masternodeprivkey=

I can successfully telnet from outside my network to my external facing IP on port 51472 so no issues there.

I try to start the masternode from the mainwallet and get a message its successfully started:

    {
                       "overall" : "Successfully started 1 masternodes, failed to start 0, total 1",
                       "detail" : {
                          "status" : {
                             "alias" : "mn2",
                             "result" : "successful"
                         },

In my masternodes tab the masternode is enabled but the active timetamp isn't ticking.

Back to the masternode type masternode status I get:

Masternode not found in the list of available masternodes. Current status: Not capable masternode: Hot node, waiting for remote activation. (code -1)

I've tried deleting the blockchain and resyncing but to no avail.

mnsync status shows it is synced:

{
    "IsBlockchainSynced" : true,
    "lastMasternodeList" : 1521466606,
    "lastMasternodeWinner" : 1521466579,
    "lastBudgetItem" : 1521466257,
    "lastFailure" : 0,
    "nCountFailures" : 0,
    "sumMasternodeList" : 8132,
    "sumMasternodeWinner" : 99765,
    "sumBudgetItemProp" : 24964,
    "sumBudgetItemFin" : 46502,
    "countMasternodeList" : 4,
    "countMasternodeWinner" : 5,
    "countBudgetItemProp" : 3,
    "countBudgetItemFin" : 3,
    "RequestedMasternodeAssets" : 999,
    "RequestedMasternodeAttempt" : 0
}

I've seen people suggest deleting the blockchain again and resyncing but I've done that twice.

Other people suggest to start the masternode from the client first before starting the masternode - but I don't quite understand how you start the masternode since its waiting for a remote invocation?

The only thing I can think of is if the original setup of 'mn1' is conflicting somewhere or my local wallet is unable to send the command to the masternode though based on the status it is sending it.

Any ideas please?
