Awesome, nice looking pool. I'll give it a try. Grin

Btw, is it possible to use Genoil's miner? or it isn't compatible?

-- Nevermind. I've tried, it is compatible. Smiley Mining right now. Let's see how good it goes.

Thank you for your feedback!

We answered your ticket earlier today when we got it. I trust you found the answer sufficient?

For the benefit of others reading this thread:

The 0.5 ETH payment was not related to the payout system of the pool. It was a reward paid to all miners who had joined the pool.

The Alpereum pool updates the balance of miners every 30 seconds, but for any ETH to be added to miners' balances, a block/uncle must have been found.
The payout routine runs every 30 minutes, but a minimum of 0.2 ETH most be in the balance for it to be paid out (to keep our gas costs within reason).

In your case, as soon as your balance reached 0.2 (segregated pr. mining address), the payout system sent you your balance (0.20923188 ETH), and reduced the balance back to zero.

The 0.5 ETH you can keep, it was paid to all operational rigs in the pool, as part of testing our reward system / to welcome everybody. We are sorry for any confusion this caused.

Sincerely

/Fabian Hediger

Bit of a wierd one this. Sent support ticket regarding it. I can send funds back if needed.

I had a payment from your system as showing as 0.03ETH or so and checked my ETH wallet set for this pool and had a payment of 0.5ETH. After checking payment history their is no history of the transaction.

Only transaction history showing on account is one early this morning for 0.20923188 Ether. http://etherscan.io/tx/0xa2ff1c104ce8bbcd3037a1d26a160697bb4d6ea38f9a62e5c7bf1c14fb498060

Unknown payment 0.5ETH http://etherscan.io/tx/0xfe2bb5deeb15c588c56592be9993ee0e5e19000791ceb8872094abbd4aeb8ac6 was this one sent by mistake or some sort of bonus pay? If not I can simply send this back not a problem.

Nice too see another pool popup and another for the testing. Will get to add to my guide and thread once done some testing and mining on.

Also does your pool pay any of the following structure?

(1) block finding reward.
(2) transaction fee (gas spent)
(3) uncle reward (4.375 ETH, 3.75 ETH, 3.125 ETH, 2.5 ETH, 1.875 ETH, 1.25 ETH)
(4) uncle inclusion incentive (0.3125 ETH, 0.15625 ETH)

Some pools do some do not so just asking to see if included etc.

Having phone support is a warm welcome that not many do or if any. And 0.2ETH payment run every 30 min also good.

(1) block finding reward.
No, and this includes uncles as well.

(2) transaction fee (gas spent)
Not sure if you are asking if we cover transaction fees on payout or if we payout the transaction fees (gas) associated with a block. So I will answer both.

Yes, we cover all transaction fees for our miners.

Yes, we also pay out the transaction fee (gas spent) reward that is associated with a block or uncle.

(3) uncle reward (4.375 ETH, 3.75 ETH, 3.125 ETH, 2.5 ETH, 1.875 ETH, 1.25 ETH)
Yes, we payout all uncles.

(4) uncle inclusion incentive (0.3125 ETH, 0.15625 ETH)
Yes, we do payout all uncle inclusion incentives.

Thank you for the compliments!

STATEMENT

Alpereum plans to change the face of crypto-currency mining pools. In the world of crypto mining pools, there have been and continue to be a number of bad actors. Incidents such as exit rips and skimming have been rampant. Alpereum is ran by Bitcoin Suisse AG, a Swiss regulated and licensed financial intermediary service with a three year track record of excellence. Miners can be rest assured that they get their fair share.

Our Ether pool is state of the art, designed with ease of use and performance in mind. Our pool is managed by professional systems administrators and monitored on a 24/7 basis. Our high availability cloud based environment allows the pool to keep running even in the event of physical hardware failure, ensuring optimal uptime and minimal loss of shares. Every time a block is found you are paid out for what you put in.

DETAILED STATISTICS

POOL INFRASTRUCTURE

High Availability Environment
Alpereum spreads it's mining pool solutions across many different physical resource nodes, in the event of hardware failure there is almost zero downtime as the pool environments will simply switch over and reside on another existing physical node. This ensures optimal uptime for miners.

Scalability
Our infrastructure allows us to easily scale our complex resources depending on the server load and hashrate, enabling us to easily manage the cost of our infrastructure. This keeps fees low and stable for miners, but ensures a high performance mining pool solution.

Performance
Alpereum only utilizes the latest generation of hardware for all of our servers. We only utilize high clock speed CPU's and SSD Storage Arrays. All of our physical resource nodes are tested prior to introduction on the live infrastructure.

Powerful Global Network
No matter what side of the globe a miner may be located in, there will always be a strong connection available between the miner and the pool. Our location in Central Europe has network pipes that accumulate to over 5+ Tbps of connectivity linking us to every corner of the world.

DDoS Protection
Alpereum utilizes powerful DDoS protection provided by multiple carriers. We understand that mining pools are under constant threat of DDoS attack and we aim to defend against this threat to ensure optimal uptime for miners.

Consistent Monitoring
Our infrastructure is constantly monitored by several different automated systems. Any hardware, network, or system failure is instantly forwarded to an on-call systems administrator and handled in a timely and professional manner.

The Human Touch
Bitcoin Suisse AG, the parent company of Alpereum directly employs professional, competent, and credentialed Systems Administrators to manage and monitor the Alpereum Infrastructure. You can be rest assured that all Alpereum pools are in good hands 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week, 365 Days a Year.

POOL CONNECTION INFO

Main Stratum Host: pool.alpereum.ch
Standard Port: 3001
VARDIFF Port: 4001

Simply use your Ether wallet address followed by a period and then your worker name.

Example:

     0xfB6916095ca1df60bB79Ce92cE3Ea74c37c5d359.myethrig1

QtMiner, Eth-Proxy, Ethminer-Genoil, and Claymore Compatible.

Stratum V1 & V2 Compatible on all ports.

Variable Difficulty (VARDIFF) is still in Beta stages. VARDIFF will adjust your rig's difficulty overtime so that you are submitting shares at the most optimal rate as determined by our pool.

VARDIFF will not work with rentals or multiple rigs connected as one, it is designed for individual mining rigs.

Experienced Miner? Different ports and difficulties are listed on the bottom of our Join Page

Global Stratum Hosts:

pool.alpereum.ch - Europe
asia.alpereum.ch - Asia
usa.alpereum.ch - North America

Use the location closest to your miner.

The port assignments are still the same on all global locations.

If you do use a global location, we suggest you always set pool.alpereum.ch as a failover. It is the main node and the most likely to be online at all times.

If you have any issues with the .ch domains, you can replace .ch with .net
