when I keep my wallet open should I reserve the coins or just leave the wallet open? and how long should I keep it open
how does the staking work. any insight into it would be appreciated

If you go back just one page.... you find all your answers.... or at least an attempt to understand how this works

It is good that there are exchanges now for this. Maybe it is time that Tokyocoin expands to other exchanges so that we can make it more valuable? I can't wait for this to be added on HitBTC and Cryptopia.

I must be very unlucky, not had anything from staking for almost 4 days now. Staking 24/7. I may grab a few more from Yobit and see if that improves my chances.

did you reserve your coins described at the first page, or left that field to zero?  (Setting->Options->Reserve)

Just the default 0, in other wallets that stops a chosen number of coins from staking so that you can use them for transactions. Is it the other way around with this one then? I Did get one stake on the first day and nothing since, my estimated time is 1 day.

Was hoping you entered the full amount there. In that case the wallet instructions are right and the dev instructions are not. Still believe it is because we both have 0 in that field. But when receiving and why and how much is still a mistery.

My estimated time is now 3hrs (but it is already 4 hrs so) but my staking weight is now bigger than my stack have not seeing that before
