Dataeum is a blockchain-based platform which uses crowdsourcing to enable the collection of 100% of all global physical data (such as stores, gas stations, traffic signs) anywhere in the world, with 100% accuracy. It does this through a mobile app and by using a distributed workforce of “collectors” who are incentivized in XDT tokens to submit physical data.

While there’s still time until the token sale, we are busy building the platform itself — a process that comes with a palette of challenges to overcome.
The Dataeum platform will be built on different technological layers to ensure the efficiency, security and flexibility of data collection until their availability on the marketplace.
The main challenges that need to be addressed are:
⚙️Speed: ability to respond in real time to multiple read/write requests;
⚙️Scalability: ability to adapt to an increasing load and to a constantly evolving number of recorded data;
⚙️Flexibility: the structure of the recorded data could evolve with the proposed service;
⚙️Accessibility: data should be able to be stored as structured data and retrieved via advanced queries;
⚙️Cost control: the high demand for reading/writing should not lead to excessive costs;
⚙️Immutability: data cannot be modified or deleted in order to guarantee its integrity.

It's a great project, but I do not understand how you can guarantee profit. Do you have your own investment experts? Or do you have other methods?
Hi 5dbhd1, while profit isn't guaranteed, Dataeum will create a worldwide community throughout a profitable and proven data generation solution. So because of the current trend of the market, investing in a high potential solution makes sense to maximize profits. This amount will enable the fast global expansion of the model and its mass adoption.

Projects that rely on crowdsourcing will always be interesting projects. When ever I hear about crowdsourcing projects I think of an ant colony in which every ant contributes a little for the colony.

Your project is very promising and great implementations project and you will knows what users need and how he will invests to your project. But you will also face the competitors and you will be very active on them. I hope it will be very successful project in the future. So, all the best for the future guys.

I would like to put your mind at rest though by letting you know there are no direct competitors dealing with the physical data.
Other project that aim to place humans at the root of the data generation are dealing with personal data: Datum, Datareum, Opiria, Streamr, Self Key, Datawallet. The difference as well between most of these listed projects and Dataeum, is that Dataeum rewards the users instantly for their actions (and not when data are commercialized to market players)
