What is MyTrackNet and how does it work?

MyTrackNet is a platform that can be used by anyone who has a Bluetooth tracker while also by people who do not have one. You only need to download the app and register your account. Through a feature called CrowdGPS, users are notified through a database that a lost item is nearby, in addition, it triangulates the location of your item and pinpoints you to where your lost property is.

MyTrackNet uses a specific reward system in which everyone gets to have their own prize. The innovative Reward System will act as an incentive to those that do not own a tracker device to join the platform and help other people to locate and retrieve their lost items. The system will reward the users who participate in the network when they simply walk or travel. Pre-ICO will run from 28th November to 22nd December 2017.
We are optimistic that pre-ICO will bw successful, after which we will deevelop fully the Alpha App,
hence we plan to have the main ICO in the first quarter of 2018

Hello!

We plan and trying to work with every single tracker in the market. We have some difficulties with one device and may loose the "manual ring" feature in our app but nothing else. Of course we are trying to find a work around to completely replace the proprietary software of this specific brand and in the near future we will experiment with custom firmwares. We will not announce the compatible devices before the alpha release since there is a lot of work to be done.

The trackers will work as usual and yes someone will have to get in the proximity area of the tracker to retrieve it.

The reward model it's a bit complicated to just give you a number and it is based on the distance that someone covered with extra variables depends on the location(in a town? In a village? In a highway?) and the speed that the user was moving(the slower the better). Also extra tokens will be given to people that found a tracker in the meantime.

It's fully on Waves platform right? Is this idea also only on electronic devices which is connected via internet and/or does have Bluetooth or as wel for "offline" stuff such as wallets (or my cat)
