As of November 1st my wallet will no longer stake and the entire balance is showing as a negative number. Just as a test I did try to send out 10,000 coins and it failed giving the message of insufficient balance.

Anybody else experiencing this issue besides me?

same here check my post

Thanks for the feedback DoncoinDEV...

I am guessing the coin numbers have exceeded what a 64 bit placeholder can fit.

Well, we are looking for volunteers to assist in this aspect ... know anyone ?

Yes - me if it becomes necessary. I haven't given up on HesDeadJim just yet and I know he is working on this I just don't know if or when he'll get everything ironed out and if he doesn't pull through and once I am done with a current project I'll handle it for sure.

I have a very very different idea of how I would personally fix this coin.

Of course I would correct the over-staking problem but more importantly I would implement a master node strategy and then .....

This would require a re-code of the wallet, something no 'code-monkey' has, so far, stepped up to do.
At this moment it looks as though we would have to pay for **any** kind of re-code service.

I am not comfortable with a coin takeover person that cannot do the required coding....

I have a very very different idea of how I would personally fix this coin.

Of course I would correct the over-staking problem but more importantly I would implement a master node strategy and then require an extremely enormous amount of coins to satisfy the masternode requirement and then pay an excellent payout margin for masternodes. The masternodes would be required to hold those coins to maintain the masternode position thus removing them from the open market.

This has numerous advantages:

This will quickly reduce the coin supply to a reasonable level.
This will help the coin to valuate as some may buy it up at 1+ satoshi to take a masternode position.
This will allow coin community people a chance to keep and then make use of the coins they have staked while waiting for this coin to come back.
The masternodes will vastly improve the network footprint and connectivity for all users.
The masternodes will enhance the security of this blockchain.
The masternodes will help to speed up and also stabilize transactions.
The masternode conversion and other implemented changes will create new interest and increased engagement for this coin.

I do not like the idea of a burn or a swap.

I am not comfortable with a coin takeover person that cannot do the required coding. If they can't code the repairs that is an issue but past that if they can't code the repairs how will they then babysit, secure, update, repair, etc. the coin moving forward?

Past that the coin needs a nice new website, listing on additional exchanges plus a good paid marketing push.

I have patiently been waiting for the takeover person to get something done with this coin but I see no progress thus far. Let's hope that changes soon.

At the moment I am very busy finishing up the launch of a new coin that I've been working on but rest assured once I get that done and if this coin is still laying here like it is today I will pick it up, do all the necessary coding, build the new site, get it on new exchanges and put a marketing push behind it.

If you have interest in this coin my recommendation is this: Buy/stake it and hold your position and be patient.... maybe the new takeover person will come through and if not no worry because other help is on the way.

This coin is not dead at least not yet.

And how murch coins total.
I see on coinnmarketcap info and it say 50 000 0000

But I see on Youbit it is 50 000 000 000 +

i wouldn't bother trying to figure out how many coins there are right now. the stake rate is out of control and the coins are multiplying exponetially

until the new wallet comes out and the eventual swap or burn is done, this coin will be pretty worthless.

It seems to me that a swap & burn may be part of the answer to fixing the wallet.
A swap & burn with a double digit % going towards a "wallet repair fund" to hire a dev to fix THE (one) problem that is crippling this coin.

/u/hesdeadjim has made heroic effort, I would suggest he manage the "fund"
The folks over at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1219460.520 are experienced with the Burn & Swap process and may be of assistance here.

Thoughts ?

i'll check out that link thanks Smiley

It's very strange that coins from the YoBit exchange are withdrawn and come instantly, but you can not replenish your wallet on the stock exchange. 1116 confirmed, and there is no coin on the exchange.
Sorry that I'm distracting, just "thinking out loud"

I have already explained many times that this coin is broken. I am working to fix it but until that happens transactions may get stuck.

i am not the original dev.

i just inherited this mess.

this is the only working node right now:
