As I remember it will be able to restore access (i.e. with the help of mobile phone number)
And for another device there will be another certificate.

I remember reading that when we login, a unique SSL certificate is generated for our device. What happens when we lose this device or if it gets stolen? If it is decentralized how will I be able to go onto the network from another device and revoke the certificate for the device I lost?

I think it will also depend from the situation on market. Right now we see the situation that all crypto fell, so for example if investors invested their crypto-funds they might not be in a big loss.
And depending from market it might be x10, if everything will go high as it was in December-January

But the main thing is that I agree with you that The project is certainly interesting and necessary. So let's just see when the project will be ready.

It depends to what do you compare with. If you compare with masternode price in Dash or NEM their price is way bigger.
Also even with some coins which I don't know much about I saw the price for masternode setup was bigger.
At the point of token sale it was $10 000, not it's less
