hey all, anyone predicted in next week price??

According to I predict the price to skyrocket to $20 within five days. We will, at least, be able to buy 1 Rye Bread with 1 Riemann.

I have seen people predict the bitcoin trends using traditional methods, though, but that's a large-volume market with relatively slow transaction times.

Would like to buy some of this coin, who does offer Riecoins?

You can buy them at poloniex.com exchange if you need a small amount. If you want a large volume (500+ coins) I can sell you some, but it'd be at a higher price than market.
\

thanks but guess im to late, prices are already 2$

Well, 0.0019 BTC @ $650/BTC would be 0.0019*650=$1.235-ish. That's actually pretty cheap considering what it'll likely do in the next week or so. Nobody knows the future though...

Right now just https://www.newaltex.com/exchange/rie_btc and https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_ric but the prices are insanely low compared to the difficulty of mining.

now is cheaper to BUY  RIC then mine, better mine something else and exchange that coin in to RIC

Botnets will stay with this coin, at the same time, community currently doesn't seem too interested. I will try to buy some, but with current status a price above 0.001 is a bit too much, especially for those botnet owners (which clearly are present since they dumped to 0.0004 yesterday).

Yeah... tend to agree with this analysis.

Still though i'm mining it as a byproduct of my gpu mining... hopefully interest will pick up.

Can someone with Linux affinity pls test this Linux build: http://go.ispire.me/1vo and tell me 1. if it's running and 2. if it's giving you any speed advantages/disadvantages compared to your own build of xptminer. Thanks!

Got errors.

Has anybody heard anything about GPU miners for Riecoin? I've searched, but nothing comes up - the coin isn't famous enough yet to draw attention of GPU miners developers, IMHO.

Most likely, a GPU miner will eventually be created, but will take significant development time. With the somewhat-similar Primecoin, GPU miners still haven't been released that work significantly better than CPUs, and various CUDA and OpenCL projects attempting to implement primecoin mining on a GPU have either failed or launched with very poor results.

But maybe its good time to BUY more of them ? I'm still buying, 0.002 (poloniex.com)is worth to buy i think, soon we have to see 0.004-0.006 and all cryptos market not gonna crash, we could see and 0.01btc

Wow, the finances for Riecoin just doesn't work, does it. I now have 26 cores on Riecoin, and it only finds about 0.05 Riecoin per hour, which works out to 0.0024 BTC per day.

Those same cores, while mining Yacoin gets around 400 Yacoin per day, or 0.01079 BTC per day.

I'll give it a 24 hour run and see if it improves, but so far things don't look good.

At this point mining Riecoin doesn't even pay for its electricity use. It has to come up to around 0.01btc to be a mining-competitive coin.

Well CPU mining in general is not very profitable .. i just do it in parallel with GPU mining due to the configuration of my systems.

That said if we reach XPM levels i'd be very happy.. since i was only getting about 16 XPM / day, whereas I'm getting triple that with RIC.
