Hello everyone I'm Daniel and I'm a Riecoin fan. I was trying to mine on two pools, xpoolx and riepool
Here there is something wrong! First of all, you can improve the performance of mining directly by servers or by the pool as stated by xpoolx because it's the miner who works on a particular algorithm that produces the work!
My test system consists of an Intel i7-4790 CPU with 8GB of ram and tried both the pool for about 30 minutes with xptminer 1.7dga c16 for stratum with current difficulty equal to 1426.0

Riepool shows the correct Shares/sec values as 4ch/s on xptminer while xpoolx seems rigged in Hashrate values!!!
Why with the same REAL Shares/sec riepool shows a concrete Hashrate of about 3600 KH/s while xpoolx shows a value of nearly 5000 KH/s
Someone, or rather administrators of the respective pools can give me some logical explanation?
I finally tested xptminer 2.0 downloaded from riepool and with this miner will get really superior performance from 0.21 to 0.28 Shares/sec!!!

Changes on XpoolX:
- Yesterday i had a DDoS attack (again..) so finally the proxy is set up and you can connect to mining.xpoolx.com:5000
- Mining speed improved, just connect and compare your KHs before and after
- Fixed some webpage bugs, thanks for submiting.
- Opened 20 stratum servers in total. Just connect to port 5000 and you will be distributed around the other servers

The only pool with Full Block Reward (0% fees with 0 transactions fees!) and with revisited Riecoin algorithm.
The xptminer 2.0 can obtain about 20-25% more Shares than original Dave Anderson code!

why is it everytime someone puts a pool together and lets face it this is not a turn key thing, not like a standard clone to build a pool for, it is a lot of work, some idiot attacks the pool,
cut that out, go do something productive with your life or get a sheet of acid, drop it and sit in a corner somewhere and check into a mental hospital,
if this continues, i may investigate personally,
i don't think any of you 'wanna bees' want someone like me snooping around the web finding you

I am trying to contribute within my knowledge to offer support as reliable as possible and I think I have partly contributed to the development of this great cryptocoin.
It's disheartening to see that someone is trying to destroy a project developed over time by many people interested!
Anyway I am continuing to work to minimize such attacks.

Because a massive DDoS attack if you have problem with miners please tell me via PM (or email me at [email protected]) the IPs used and the Password of one of your Worker in order to create custom firewall rules.
May occur occasional disconnections but I'm working hard about solve this!
