Version 1.2 was released on GitHub nine days ago while the website is in the process of getting a spring clean and dusting.

Basically, because of the initial whales at launch there were multiple forks that occurred resulting in some issues with the block chain failing at various points eg 21,181 etc.  The chain still downloads, but through a convoluted series of coding issues, *all* the various forks were downloaded.

This release fixes those issues.

Was hoping to lunch the website on the first of July 2017, however, I have pushed through a partial update of the website.

On the To Do list are the various Windows / Mac / Linux versions to put through.

We've managed to achieve one plan which was to keep a stable node going and to be permanently listed on an exchange which won't drop us anytime soon.

We were looking to update the Wallet, however, that plan has stall for the time being.

#RussiaCoin is currently enjoying prices between 5,000 sats and 7,500 sats over at Cryptopia.co.nz and we keep an online presence via our twitter feed. (which gives us a MarketCap of $680,369 / BTC 575 / 38,305,562 RUB and a 24 hour trade of $10,902 / BTC 9 / RUB 587,132 on 8,216,446 RC in circulation.

We also have been in touch with a graphic artist to do us up new logos so we can then tackle the website.

We're in it for the long haul; if things take a little bit of time, rest assured, it's because we are trying to do things the best way the first time around.

What is the plan for Russia Coin next? Is there something in the plan?

Keeping #RussiaCoin going has been a labor of love over the last few years with a small, but dedicated group behind the scenes helping out.

I really must chase up (from Cryptopia)   Yannic and jtnalvarado who was talking about updating our interim website (thanks for the help there too BTW)  -  Then there's NoobKidOnTheBlock who looks in from time to time.

Plus     marcetin for providing the crowd funded nodes - they weren't maintained as highly as we'd hoped, but they got us through a rough patch.  Not to forget the SexCoin group for actually putting their hands in their pockets to crowd fund the nodes while their Dev lavajumper worked behind the screen to provide us with a working node and block explorer.  http://explorer.russiacoin.info/ http://archive.is/CJFiW#selection-159.0-189.3

Donations to lavajumper can be made in SXC or BTC via the explorer page - lavajumper _was_ working on our new RC Wallet, however, he's gone MIA on or around the 17th of November 2016 (18th of November 2017 depending on your time zone) I hope he's all right.

Then there's been the usual round of chasing up faucets, the endless giveaways of #RC over at Cryptopia and the like, so as you can see we may not have may boots on the ground, but we're a dedicated group who believe in #RussiaCoin's long term viability.

Year Three is definitely shaping up to be a great year.
