Good work on helping with the translation activities.

Just one comment, for the SBC price today in relation to BTC, mustn't forget that Cryptsy as the only exchange (that i know of) with SBC has pretty much been unusable today for making deposits and making trades. Hard to know what that would have done to the relationship between SBC and BTC.

Hi all, I have some important announcements to make, all of it is good news.

1. The StableCoin subreddit now has over 100 subscribers!

2. StableCoin is now ranking in at number 3 for most 2014 growth at this poll: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/poll-which-alt-coin-will-see-the-most-growth-in-2014-359521

3. (I believe this is the most important one): On Tuesday, December 3rd 2013, the price of Bitcoin was around 1,100 dollars. The price of StableCoin was around 12 - 13 cents.

Today, on Saturday, December 7th 2013, the price of Bitcoin, after ENORMOUS fluctuations and instability, has now settled at around 750-775. About a 30% decrease.

While almost every other altcoin's value has plummeted, what is StableCoin's value at? About 16 cents. This is at least a 25% increase. If this isn't a sign of StableCoin's future and stability, I don't know what is.

4. I am currently working on translating the site into Russian with the help of my mother.  Smiley It should be completely translated some time tonight. The Russian site will be important, as the Russian board on here has almost four times the number of posts as the Chinese board has.

A hardfork will likely be issued in the days to come to update the difficulty algorithm to something more... Modern.

Kimoto's Gravity Well from Megacoin then?

+1 for Kimoto's Gravity Well or PPC Diff Algo.

Multipools weren't a thing when SBC was first created. Might as well deal with the issue now, before we grow any further.

3GH on SBC? your joking?

I hate to say it but I think someone has a script Asic.   They seem to point it at StableCoin when it is the most profitable coin to mine.

5,000 SBC sent.

Love this community.

You rock!

As for the block explorer, I put out a request a few days ago about sponsoring a new, solid site. I picked up blockexplorer.io and we can host it under sbc.blockexplorer.io ... just need someone who's set one up before to help get it running. Drop me a line!

However I think there is an issue with CryptoCult...this doesn't seem to be correct

I think I read that the difficulty for a new worker starts high and scales down over time, so maybe this is the intended behavior? Although the hashrates are pretty close o_O

You may consider donating 1k of that 25k SBC to the translator of the Spanish site Wink

All I need is proof and an address. Hook me up and I will provide.

It has been great international emphasis beyond China, as an immediate fixture of SBC's future.

While panic focused in on China, StableCoin pressed ahead with vision set on broader horizons. Huge markets are waiting to be claimed:

I am 25,000 SBC richer now---thanks to the panic. Seeing the Spanish translation led me to pull the trigger:

Keep up the great work.

I don't know if it's the switching pools that are messing things up but from 09:37 on 6/12 (actually that's the first transaction in my wallet that day, so the mining period starts earlier than that) till 16:00 on 7/12 (today), using a split between hashco.ws (40%), miningpool.co (40%) and coin-base.org (20%) I've earnt a grand total of 25 SBC and 0.00055763 BTC (which is 2.414 SBC @ 0.00023095), so call it 27 SBC, which at 0.00023095 amounts to 0.00623565 BTC which at $729.659 = $4.55 for about 38 hours mining.

It's hard to accurately estimate my electricity costs, as I had my PC on for a lot of the day before anyway, so the 200W from the graphics card being fully loaded is the only additional draw and that costs me about 61p/day but I'm also leaving the PC on overnight and at other times when I would have put it into standby when not using it, so there's some additional expense from running the motherboard and CPU (even underclocked and undervolted to 800Mhz) for those hours, so call it 100w for 10 hours equals another 12.64p, so a total of 73.64p/day or $1.20.

As I only started on hashco.ws yesterday and it's a PPLNS, I might earn a bit more over the next 24 hours but coinwarz estimates I should be earning 27 SBC/day at the moment, which I'm clearly not reaching, so I'm doing something wrong.
