A version of stealth addresses has been implemented by SX and DarkWallet, but our implementation has been developed completely independent of either project. We have developed Dual-Key Stealth Addresses, which allow transactions to be received even while the wallet is closed, and for security, the coins will not be spendable until the wallet is unlocked.

Or you might just stop telling shit like the above.

Thats already how SX works. But of course you invented dual-key stealth addresses.

So please explain us, how you use zk-snarks for your "shadowsend".

In technical terms.

HaHa! Its sooo uncommon to have anon/stealth FUD coming from a CryptoNote bag holder... Wink

That was sarcasm...FUD is all you guys do. GO BACK TO YOUR CN HOLE!

Introducing: ShadowSend

Hey guys,

I am pleased to announce that we have successfully implemented Anonymous Stealth Addresses into our upcoming wallet release. The stealth system was first described by Peter Todd for use with Bitcoin but to our knowledge, we have developed the first open source C++ implementation of Anonymous Stealth Addresses using OpenSSL.

Our stealth solution has been developed for ShadowCoin but we believe that our implementation is the best currently available and will be used for bitcoin in the near future.

This week we will be releasing ShadowSend, a capable, efficient and decentralized anonymous wallet solution that does not rely on coinjoin or any centralized node structure. This wallet will allow transactions to remain anonymous while the stealth address system is used.

ShadowSend's stealth addresses will soon be layered with zk-snarks to further increase security and privacy of the anonymous solution, this will be the first system of its kind available in bitcoin or altcoins.  Stay tuned for more information in the days to follow.

Nice SCAM.

SX is always able to send when offline and there are already tons of coin with Stealthaddresses:

Vertcoin, Execoin, Bitshares, Monero, Boolberry, Bytecoin, Ducknote, Moneta Verde... Fuck who knows, tons of them, fuckface. So go scam somewhere else.

Man your users are so dumb, they cant even read peters writeup and see through your bullshit.
Reading comprehension is not your strong suit it I take it...

"we have developed the first open source C++ implementation of Anonymous Stealth Addresses using OpenSSL."

"A version of stealth addresses has been implemented by SX and DarkWallet, but our implementation has been developed completely independent of either project."

FYI: The announcement clearly states there have been other implementations. ShadowDevs have improved on the idea...go back to your hole.

Agreed with ItsNotMe , for what  I can see this is a new independent developed solution, way different than the approach the other coins failed to reach, give it a try and read the specs and try the code , The solution SDC is bringing to the table is different and actually works.

Do your own research...fuck..let me help you.

Taking a gamble and buying some. SO no premine or hidden mine?  Has devs been vetted or proven to be real and not the usual scam coin suspects?

yes they have been vetted, code base was vetted. There is no premine or ipo or post mine or hidden pre mine. This is a coin you invest in.

This. This right here is a ray of sunshine amidst all the crap garbage coins that have been coming out. Here's why:

1. A great dev team.

2. Solid concepts for coin design.

3. NO bullshit ipo, premine, or instamine.

4. ANONYMITY.

5. Fresh features(such as ShadowChat).

Get it while it's hot ppl. It's gonna be a bumpy ride......

devs a good guy. No premine, none hidden either. All is well. This coin will do well.

Cryptowest reviewed...he posted on this forum  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8111590

Bittrex admins have been really busy lately, so at the request of some SDC investors, I decided to check Shadowcoin's code. I'm not related to Bittrex at all, just giving my personal opinion here.

First of all the dev seems very competent, I can't find any issues or missed edits that he hasn't already fixed.

The code itself looks good, there are no hidden blocks or other tricks, it's clean and straightforward.

The biggest problem I've seen in POW --> POS coins is not having a POS checkpointing server set up properly (I've fixed 5 or 6 other coins with this issue.)  Shadowcoin has a proper functioning POS checkpointing server and the POW end code is correct also.

Everything looks good to me.

Awesome, thanks

Yes indeed, This is something which i am eagerly anticipating it's release, not purely for their practical uses but also to study and learn from some of the techniques used to implement some of these super-cool sounding features! This coin and its dev team seem to really be pushing the envelope on crypto-tech in general.
Kudos SDCDevs & Good Luck !!
