What does that mean?

Since it's a shared stake (POS) and mined (POW) blockchain, for each block that is found by staking, that is one less block that can be mined. It then reduces the total number of mined coins by 0.1 per block that is found by staking.

The more coins staked, the fewer mined, the greater % of total supply you have with your staking coins.

You're golden, that's exactly what I was hoping for. But then being able to stake 2 seed right now is quite possible.

I do show 2 confirmed rx at 06:02 and 06:10 but that was before I did the update.

My understanding was after they stake, they take at least another 24 hrs to mature again before they can stake again, is that correct cryptzo?

That's true. And the update shouldn't actually do anything for staking *yet*. Some way that I'm not entirely sure of at the moment, people were able to connect to the network with times set in the future. This shouldn't be possible (if you do it the wallet complains at you, loudly). Obviously you can modify the code to do that, but that just doesn't seem to be the case. Some people do seem to be accessing the update early somehow, which is why I asked earlier in the thread for people to delete their debug.log, restart the client, and post the time listed at the top of their new debug.log - if it doesn't report the time in UTC then the wallet isn't going to function properly and you wont be able to stake. With that said, if it's not right, your wallet will yell at you, so I'm really confused as to why it's happening.

All coins depend on people having the correct time, the time is checked and rechecked everywhere in the code. So why the time is getting skipped for some people is really bugging me.

If you earned your coins on the correct fork, before it split off, then your coins will be in the pool after it is updated to the most recent wallet. Then you will be able to withdraw, as long as your wallet is on the correct fork.

who is the minerpool owner?

I have some funds tied up on minerpool too and hoping to recover at least some of them. I was mining there at night and not sure when the bad fork happened. I'm lucky in that I was manually withdrawing up until I called it a night so at least I have those coins. At most I only lost 7 hours worth of mining (ouch!), but less if the fork happened later than 11pm my time. I'm glad I decided to check on this first thing in the morning, and got my rigs switched to LifeForce

Close the wallet and reopen it. I know when I was trying to sync my personal wallet that seemed to help when I was trying. Also, just for completeness sake, do check help > about seedcoin and doublecheck that the version number is v1.0.1.0

Thanks for the help mate, closing it and reopening it let it sync. Deleted the add nodes and tested the getblock 00000000000c8062ce8888ef0f7e149b76231ff7b4ca25c4156b68d87c331602

I'm doing this. It still thinks I only need to go to block 3544.

EDIT: Oh wait, never mind. My wallet it now synced and at block 3704. I had to create that conf file. Do I just delete it? Or empty out the lines and have a blank one?

EDIT: I deleted the connect lines from the .conf file and just have a blank one now. And my wallet is at 3710 and I can tell it's now keeping up. So I think I'm back in business. Thanks!

Yea minerpools is fucked. Anything before the network went to hell is lost. There is a lot of hash power being wasted there and withdraws are being blocked. Hopefuly they can credit people back before the issues and at least get some coins out.
