SegWit2X Team Works on Implementation of Hybrid Protocol Consensus POW & POS

As the result of the additional hardfork, the hybrid mining will be introduced. We decided to implement this function to make the mining process even more secure. SegWit2X team is also planning to adopt POW and POS mechanisms, and this intention is going to be realized by the end of february as well as embed the light version of B2X wallet.

These and other features brought with the coming fork could be found in the roadmap. Please, visit our official website for more details.

Better to download blockchain bitcoin to quickly solve sync problems, I've experienced the same thing but it's done.

After the canceled November 2017 fork and the revamp in December with a totally new team, I haven't followed this project anymore. Looks like the price declined to around $5 according to coinmarketcap and the circulating supply hasn't been updated yet. If you look at all the coins available the marketcap is around $80 mio, which would make this coin still a top 170 crypto currency. This is not too bad for a heavily discussed coin.
Is the team still active? Is the roadmap promising? Have the milestones been reached?

wow! Zumminer finally has web wallet. does not help much if trading is possible only in crap exchanges, but it is first positive thing since fork.

Bitcoin after the tech was given to the public by the Satoshi individual or team is now being maintained by the bitcoin core team.
Decisions are made by the ones supporting the project ie miners, community etc in various meets around the world.

Nowadays though after bitcoin has become the norm coins to prove to investors that they will actually deliver what they promise it is preferable to show a reliable team backing the project so that the investors are confident enough to invest their money in and not invest them in something reliable like bitcoin etc.

seriously, if the team does not immediately change the approach to their business, the road to the blockbuster industry will be closed to them, because thousands of people from the crypto community will see their true face, but if they fulfill their road map and correct the deal with the exchange, perhaps it will be an excellent payment system, hope and watch.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting this coin. I mined it with the hope of making some kind of return from my crapminers D3 but it's been one disappointment after the next. No usable wallets, no real exchanges nothing.

Been mining it too, hoping they would deliver something, but it was a waste of electricity. It's not gonna happen, bareley holding on to $10.

Imagine someone cashing out on 11k B2X on this illiquid crap exchange, it will send the price towards $0.
