Community Coin of the Month - Round 6
Binance

Fellow Binancians,
Binance will start Round 6 of the “Community Coin of the Month”. For this session we will again be conducting the voting on the Binance website where users can vote using their BNB tokens. The community coin that receives the most votes will earn a place to list on the Binance exchange for free, subject to final review.
How to nominate your coin/token:
Application deadline: 2018/02/09 4:00 AM (UTC).
Please fill in the Community Coin Application form. We have a strict screening process. If you are not a core team member of the coin, please kindly ask a member of the project core team to make the request.  If your coin/token is not selected for this month, feel free to apply again in the next round. It will stop OTC treading.
Create an entry for your coin/token on Binance Info (info.binance.com) and fill out all relevant information.

==============================

We can list coin on Binance using community power.  We can grow community with Binance.

The time has come to test community power, and I guess SEMUX will have a good result, but what other strong opponents?

Binance is currently under maintenance; but information can be found.  We will come to know about opponents after competition starts.

I made an inspection about pools and making a post about them:

Signing up mandatory pools:

Currently, only pool asks for signing up is the Animal pool. Voters share the all pool income. https://semux.info/pool
They are taking %25 for a fee.

Anonymous pools:

General 01-02-03-04 they are all individual pools and the fee they are taking %20 (%18 for themselves %2 donate to the developer of the pool manager.)
Semuxpool_com and Semuxpool_com2 are taking %20
Mddsemuxpool - Mddsemuxpool2 are taking %20
Semux_pool_party are taking %8
100_tokenpar_com is currently only giving %0.5 to semux dev and share the rest of it.
Pool_borderline is taking %6.3 (%6 for himself, %0.3 for the developer of the pool)
lvl3pool is taking %6
Tent is taking %5
Tiger is taking %5
Dragon is taking %5
Phash is taking %2.5 (%2 for himself, %0.5 for the devs)

Tent, tiger and dragon pools owner is the same person.

Pools unknown:

cn_pool i think it is Chinese and requirements are unknown.
There is not any information about.

I think even with the 1000 delegator fee, above %15 is too much and I'm not voting for them. Probably they will take lower fees when they get 1000 back but still, it is high.

When voting put this %'s into consideration.

If a pool has 30.000 votes but takes %25 as a fee means it has 40.000 votes. So even 39.000 votes pool with %0 fees would be better.

Ps: If anyone has some information about cn_pool please let me know and I can edit the post. I tried to find out their fee from the share they give out but couldn't be sure.

Added phash to list. It is already a validator by the way.

thanks for adding Smiley
Thank you for the good analysis so far phash (%2) tent, tiger and dragon pools (5%) are lower fee around but still the fee is too high we need something between 0% - 0.1 % if possible .

anyone from the dev team or else can help?

as i don t really understand how this is working

thanks

Only validators can add blocks to the chain. To become a validator, you need two things:
1. Become a delegate - to become one you have to burn 1000 SEM. those burned SEM are gone for ever and you can't get them back.
2. Gather enough votes for your delegate. Only the top 100 voted delegates become validators.

Currently about 33k votes are required to get into the top 100, but this number increases over time. If you don't have enough SEM to vote for yourself, you will need other people to vote for you. To encourage others to vote for you, you can share the block rewards with them - in other words, become a pool. Once someone votes for you, the amount of SEM he voted is locked, however, at any given time he can unvote you and unlock it.
Here is a list of the current operating pools and their fees: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.29319963.
If you need help setting up a pool, or have any more questions you are welcome to join the Discord channel.

thanks buddy for your complete description, but i have a question, those burned coins will be deducted from coin supply ? it will be saved somewhere ?
with so many delegates registered, i think few thousands of coin supply should have been deducted by now

Yes, burned coins are deducted from the circulating coin supply, so each new delegate reduces the supply of available coins. You can see exactly how many coins have been burned, and other statistics on semux.info. Right now there are 120,000 burned coins - 0.12% of the total supply.

Good source of coin supply statistics:

http://semuxchain.info/stats

Burned coins are deducted from the supply, as well as coins held in the foundation, community and dev funds.
The remaining is shown as locked and available coins in circulation .

Currently:
Locked supply in circulation: 3,499,088 SEM.
Available supply in circulation: 1,183,807 SEM.

Votes are getting distributed more evenly as people are optimizing payouts and delegates battle for the 100th spot. Not many votes separating most validators anymore.

New Pool up: it's called phash (hope I can rename it...) - 2% Fee + 0.5 Fee for Devs!
