1. what is the aim of this testing program and at what block are we targetting to stop?
2. what is the benefit of the project to us delegators testing this program?

The aim of the testing program is to battle test the new Java code base. We'll do alpha test for 1 month, beta test for 2 months, and release candidate test for 1 moth, roughly.
All participants will be thanked in terms of coins when we officially launch. We're still figuring out the details.

v1.0.5 works fine on Debian 8 x64...at block #385 at the moment.

Same, all blocks are invalids with the 1.04. I'm on Windows 8.1.
