not true.. i had an address in my wallet wouldnt sync and had old version.. saved wallet.dat file elsewhere.. deleted the current version downloaded new one.. stuck in the wallet.dat file ran it and it worked...

BUT if you're using version 1.6.0.0 and your funds are STUCK like here, just make this steps and you will receive back your coins, here works....

Just change the private key that you have and will work!

it was writen from beginning "if you change your signature in this period, you will lose your coins." but you ignore it.

Stop being silly. The dev clearly said that the system will update it. So if you return your signature that it will be fine. The problem is that there is something wrong with the system. A bug or something that cause my signature to get updated.

When you're trouble with funds and you wallet don't sync, make this steps...
Works to me:

1- Delete all files except the file wallet.dat;
2- Open the wallet other time;
3- Wait for SYNC;
4- When your wallet sync make an dumpprivkey #YOURADDRESS# (change #YOURADDRESS# for your wallet address);
5- Copy the Private key, seem like this: VNPZVSCP7JcgPgK3Eb7RQPjuU7ebxVzXNsAjuhncC4G5324235325
6- Make an New address and put this on console:
importprivkey "VNPZVSCP7JcgPgK3Eb7RQPjuU7ebxVzXNsAjuhncC4G5324235325"
7- Now you have your coins on wallet! Cheesy

Relax, you were on the wrong fork, all your coins are stored in this address: STuTSjkxHr6Tt6UyccbTUicVBbc1yWhB3Z
Try using the command: "dumpprivkey STuTSjkxHr6Tt6UyccbTUicVBbc1yWhB3Z" It should print out the private key of that address and it's all you need to spend the coin. If you still have the key, you still have the coin.
