Exchanges have to secure their hot wallets & withdraws scripts... Coins are secure, exchanges aren't (mt.gox, mintpal, etc).

IIRC, Silkcoin is now past two POW stages and into POS, is that correct? What safeguards against an attack like Vericoin/Mintpal are in place? (Assume the exchanges are vulnerable, so the coin/blockchain must have its own strategy for security).  Now I'm hearing NAV was subjected to an exchange theft as well (2 exchanges at once), so security must be a top priority...
