OK after some investigation and conversing with Centarra it seems they didn't email us to tell us the main server was up for renewal, very professional.

http://imgur.com/Wh46E3F

There is an outstanding payment of $50 for the main server renewal.

Here are our options:

1. Sell 10,100SLG for BTC and pay the server fee.
2. Wait until one of us receive payment from a freelance job and pay the server.
3. Temporarily pay the server fee from the Video Funds and replace once we are paid from freelance work.

We are going to have to go with option 3 and renew the server for December and can replace the 0.1391BTC used from the video fund before the end of November.

EDIT: Paid: https://blockchain.info/tx/dfcede23470d2803476ca88036ed8e261b63bc97f19e44b59c36c25f835b2909

EDIT: Services are back. Just need to get Matthew to restart the Stratum on the mining pool and we are good.

OPTION 3 definitely the best option

wise choice

We thought this was the best choice also. These funds will be replenished very soon.

At roughly 11pm GMT last night a distruption to our online services occurred. We are now in talks with our hosts trying to resolve this issue ASAP.

Let us know how it goes Wink

I am in the middle of getting the services up as we speak.

On another note, it seems that the coinpayments.net vote is turning into a real battle between us and Stealthcoin, let's win this - https://www.coinpayments.net/vote-results

Nothing to Do - Invested some more in Sterlings......
Waiting on my Sterlingcoin Limited Edition Cryptocard...
Nothing to Do - Voted in the nomination thread
Nothing to Do - Looking around on everything that have been done and written so far about Sterlingcoin.

You have already done some really nice difference with this coin in the otherwise quite suspect crypto-world.

Many thanks. We just need the community to tweet, post and talk about Sterlingcoin and to get other people involved too.

We sadly haven't had the recognition that other coins have had and we feel in most cases we deserve a lot more recognition.

I'm glad that the SLG is growing organic. There haven't been any pump/dump of the coin and this we should be thankful for because there has not been a short flashing hype. Those coins I have owned that rockets in price has often also fallen down as a hawk with hang over. Such fluctuations seem to disappoint more than those lucky that sold in the right time. Disappointment often lead to giving the coin a bad reputation.

Sterlingcoin is young, the older it becomes the more solid it will be. The more solid it is the more people will start to trust the coin. Things will look different in a year or two. If this coin persists with its engaged crew I believe it has all the potential to be a powerful coin to count on.

This was my 5 Sterlings. Looking forward for the future development.

The coinpayments.net vote ends on the 5th of December and currently we are tied first with Stealthcoin.

Sterlingcoin needs to win this vote to proactively add further USA merchants with ease.

Each vote costs 0.001BTC and remember to confirm your vote via the email they send to you once your vote payment is confirmed (yes two confirmations).

Many thanks to those who vote.

Hello all,

So you want to know about what we are working on?

OK Cheesy

Sterlingcoin has just been accepted by TargetPay so we can process PaySafe payments for Sterlingcoin. The system is based upon the http://paysafegulden.com/ site and will be going live at the beginning of December.

Matthew has to finalise the transaction explorer and we are also working on a multi-pool for Sterlingcoin which will auto-switch to the most profitable coin to mine and support all algorithms. Payouts will be in SLG.

There is another system coming in December, which we cannot give finite details about. We can say its bigger than the above mentioned systems and will certainly open up "a few" more merchants (sorry to tease).

I have also been contemplating adding a 'Careers' section to the site to advertise for Social Marketers and Promotion professionals to push Sterlingcoin in both real and virtual life.

On top of all this we are still approaching merchants and service providers to try to get them to accept Sterlingcoin.

Talk soon,

Spencer Lievens

p.s. In terms of BTER we have never used their platform, nor looked at their voting platform. We have requested addition through pressure from community members.
December is going to be a good month for slg  Smiley            Smiley

Hi Spencer,

Is there any news you can share with us what the SLG team is work on?

+1, been a bit quiet lately.  Also I want to vote for bter, ive never looked right into it but you need some sort of trading points to vote, do I have to trade to get points or can I exchange btc for some?

The Sterlingcoin Transactions page and the SterlingcoinAPI will be updated within the week.  I've currently been busy working on other projects to earn some income.  Many of you may not know but the Sterlingcoin Dev team has not made any income over the last 7 months from our work.  Everything we have done is from our own time and there are times where we have to take on other projects to make ends meet.  Here's the good news. Things to come:

   Sterlingcoin Multipool

   Sterlingcoin Merchant API

   Updated Sterlingcoin Transactions Explorer

Bittrex Trading for Sterlingcoin Web Wallets
 great progress  Smiley
