Is there an ETA on the launch of the Cystum multipool? Smiley

There is no ETA as we are coding still, fixing issues, finding issues, fixing those issues, testing, finding issues, coding, fixing issues etc. etc. etc.

Best thing to do is presume it is coming, wait, check the thread, get excited, wait some more, look at the thread, get excited, clean gpus, check thread, clean gpus some more......

In other words the Cystum multipool is being worked on night and day, it is coming, you will all love using it and will be very very happy once it has launched.

We understand your excitement and eagerness to mine right now and start using it, we do, but you are just all going to have to wait just that little bit longer for it Cheesy

I know everyone is eager to start using the multipool.  I don't really have a date on when it will be ready but I can say as much as it won't be very long and if the right testing phases work the way I want them to, then we will be opening very shortly.   One thing I can tell you for sure is that last night I spent the night finishing my trade bot code to handle the exchange of currencies that cannot be mined.  As this may seem a easy process for some this is not the case for a multipool that will be handling multiple currencies being traded for other multiple currencies.  There are many things that have to be tested and then re-tested again to make sure the system performs the way I intended it to.  I will not release a product that is half or almost done.  It will cause more headaches than joy.

   Now with all that said... I will be moving Sterlingcoin Pool accounts over to our Multipool accounts this week and I WILL open registrations for the multipool.  There will be limited beta access coming next week (mid-week) for select users that are registered.  Any users that private messaged me and I have not replied to, do not worry I have received your messages and will need your help testing.  You will receive a account flag as a beta tester to help me narrow down some issues if your up for it.

Thanks for the detailed response syyyn!  I know there's a lot of work going in to this project and I want to thank you for everything you're doing!  And of course it's good that you're not going to rush the release/launch of the service. Smiley

have had my coins for 2 days now it still cant mint , says not of age. so how long before stake can begin?

Make sure your wallet is encrypted first and then unlock the wallet for staking only. Leave wallet open, connected and it will begin to stake.

Also Sterlingcoin holdings are matured after 30 blocks, 1 hour and you should begin to stake.

If you're on the newest wallet and encrypted, I think you should start minting within 24hrs with an unlocked wallet. Although it could depend on how many coins you have staking. How many active connections does your wallet have?

hi guys im new to slg , after how many days or hours before can stake ? could not find in op thanks

Hi m33.  Your coins can start staking interest once they have matured, which can take up to an hour. For more information check out the link below;

http://sterlingcoin.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/StakingSterlingcoin.pdf
A thought. Is there any way to automatically unlock the wallet once it is started?

If I'm not wrong, I may autostart the wallet with Windows. But I'll not stake until I have manually unlocked the wallet.

Yes. There is no need to do it with automatic Its to risky and you gain nothing.

Will I gain the same amount if I stake 1h every quarter, 1h every week or 1h a day as if I stake 24/7?
Realising I have no idea what the criteria behind "PoS Interest: 5.5% Annually" are...

No, if you stake your coins for 1 hour every 24, you will receive 1/24th the amount than if you did for 24 hours. Smiley

The 5.5% annually is worked out like this (AFAIK) assuming you've got 10k SLG staking;

5.5% of 10,000 SLG = 550 SLG per year (or 1.5 SLG per 24 hours)

I don't have my computer running 24/7 anymore, app. 8h/day. That's why it would be smooth if I could auto-unlock my wallet when Windows starts. Smiley

Look into macro recording, however we strongly advise against any form of automatic unlocking of the wallet.

Sterlingcoin is now available on snipped!

Register today and get 0.1 BTC free!

Has this exchange got anything to do with https://exco.in/ which was recently hacked?

EDIT:  This website stinks of a scam.

EDIT 2: I signed up to test it out, didn't receive the "confirmation email" I was supposed to get.  I can only assume that they're hoping people will signup with the same user/password as they use on other exchanges so they can steal your coins.

Stay away from this shit.
Same here i didn't receive confirmation mail. This is scam as you wrote.

The user has now been banned from BCT and I've sent emails to their domain/hosting providers to inform them that it's a phishing site.  Let's hope he doesn't manage to scam anyone before it gets taken down. Wink

 The longer the time you have the wallet online the more you stake, 24/7 is ideally the most you'll gain. Also you have to consider the block amount since that also plays a role. If you configure blocks at 5 to 10k once a week, from my personal experience, I believe you'll gain more compared to a much smaller or much bigger block. I suspect other factors are at play which are hard to figure out, like the total amount of coins you have, the amount of time it takes to stake a certain amount of a block and the time overall it takes to stake all blocks during a 24 hour period. (this is just speculation, maybe someone can enlighten us)
 To set the amount of your blocks go to Send Coins > Coin Control Features and press the 'Inputs...' button and you'll see a list with the blocks. Select some of the blocks to amount around 5-10k and send them to one of your receive addresses. You may also want to create more than one receive addresses and send the coins from one address to the other of your receive addresses, I've noticed POS is more efficient that way for some reason.
