Sometimes I've had to stop the wallet and restart it after a reload.

I can't sync after wallet update to 2.1.1, either.

The blockchain was re-downloaded. The block is stuck at 1158689.

Nothing happens after rescan. Just stuck. Sad

Plz make blockchain bootstrap after 1160000 to pass stuck point.

Anyway, weird.

Hey, I'm having issue with the update process. I download the update but after when the wallet is restarting I get this error.

When I restart the wallet it prompts me to update again, I get this error every time after attempting to update. Any ideas?

Works for me on OSX but I havn't updated my windows wallet yet

I am having this same issue on Windows 7

Make sure you have a backup of your wallet first.

On Windows 7, left click on the windows jewel and type %appdata%/solarcoin in the search box. Open the solarcoin folder. Inside you'll find the blockchain data and other files as well as your wallet.dat. You can select the wallet.dat and right click select copy, then paste that someplace safe outside of the directory, as well as a thumb drive, etc. Just make sure you have that backed up. Next select everything in that directory except the wallet.dat and trash it. Reload the application and under the file menu, select reload blockchain.

Always make sure you have a backup of your wallet.dat first.

Hi Corather,

Thanks for the help. I followed the above advice and the new wallet downloaded. I reloaded the blockchain but the wallet will not synch. It is stuck with 1200 block remaining. Have I missed a something?

Some SolarCoin stuff going on at the electricchain:

ElectriCChain acts as an Incubator and provides Consultancy for Solar-Blockchain-based projects and prototypes. Projects we're currently working on:

- The attached Blockchain-communicating Datalogger, underway with ChainofThings, BitSeed and using through cross-Blockchain the IOTA Tangle (regarded as V2.0 in Blockchain Tech - GridSingularity is evaluating this technology in parallel to their Ethereum-powered Datalogger) ; this pilot Datalogger will be presented in London onJune 1st, RWE and other actors/utilities present, and previously demonstrated at West Africa project Solarly Demo Day May 26th in Belgium (see below). We will also be presenting to I-Cleantech and a group of Solar Installers in Flanders with the Renewable Energy Cluster, May 30th, including Engie (ex-GDF-Suez-Veolia Group). In effect Solar Production Data is using the IOTA Tangle rail for constant monitoring/flux and mirrored to the SolarCoin Blockchain for granting purposes, Global Climate Change/Meteo monitoring,

- NASA projects, including granting SolarCoins to the Ames Research Center and International Space Station - ISS through the SolarCoin Blockchain, Work Group and 2 Internship openings for the Summer to work on this for MIT students,

- West-Africa project : Decentralized solar kits (microgrid) intercommunicating through Blockchain tech and sms (mobile tech), and granting SolarCoins through Blockchain Datalogger. DC Kits available for household and larger installations, include battery, charge controler and plugs (usb etc) ; Blockchain enables energy bill splitting. Solarly currently attending NestUp Accelerator Program in Belgium and presenting pilot on demo-day May 26th ; testing 30 different-size kits in Cameroon during the course of the summer,

- SunSpec Alliance: SunSpec aims to deliver on communication standardization for inverters/dataloggers, works with 70 solar industry manufacturers and investigating the integration of the pilot Blockchain Datalogger findings ; SolarChange is registering 3.800 solar installs from SunSpec,

- Automating and securing SolarCoin granting engine, through Ethereum/Slock.it,

- Other projects (not mentioned previously) are TheSunExchange and Lumo-France, testing and integrating SolarCoin into Crowdfunding Platform, as well as granting SolarCoins through the Claims Facilitators to Solar Owners (SolarChange recently accepted to Blockchain Accelerator program StartupBootCamp in Zurich and IBM Tel Aviv)

Is there any chance of having a mobile wallet or having SLR be a part of a multi wallet app?

The Foundation is working on the next release of the wallet. See github for activity https://github.com/onsightit/solarcoin

Once complete, development via affiliate Global SolarChange will start for https://coinomi.com/

OK Version 2.1.1 is now live and out for release   check for update.

Team is going to update website later Sunday evening.

Nick

We thank them so much and all who have responded to this fundraising effort for Project 1 on ElectriCChain and also thanks to Scalextrix who is donating a battery and helping us on the ground for logistics in London!

The solarcoin community is really amazing, like minded individuals helping each other try to do this!

I will leave the comment with these valuable and wise words of wisdom. Not mine.

"One thing I know for sure - we have to believe in ourselves and in what we do, then eventually it get's done. There is a way and we will find it. "

Cheers to the sun!
