SmartPirate brought up a good point earlier about the logo not showing up well.  And I always notice a new logo on CoinWarz.  If anyone has an idea to improve or change our logo please post it here.  If someone here is handy with photoshop we could use your help!

We are on block 173730.  So 200,000 (fork block) - 173730 = 26270 blocks left @ 40 seconds per block

26270 block X (40 sec/block) X (1 min/60 sec) X (1 hour / 60 min) X (1 day / 24 hour) = 12.16 days approximately

Most notable in the short term is 32 coins per block will last only 200,000 blocks instead of the 400,000 that I had stated.

We are hard forking at block 200,000 so it is a mandatory update to wallet v1.3.2.0
The following is a very short summation of what happens at block 200,000:

Halving to 32 coins per block
Switching from KGW to Digishield due to a theoretical exploit of KGW (at the request of SwissCex)

Yes the new wallet is 1.3.2

I remind people who have not done
as often as we write in the thread, the more people will see this thread on the first page in the entire forum

Everyone should follow suit. Don't wait for someone else to do it. Every little thing makes a big difference!

There's one simple thing that anyone can do that can make a huge difference, and that's to make contact with new services in the bitcoin ecosystem, and then also to reach out beyond the core community.

For example, type into Google variations of a search related to crypto currencies, like "crypto currency exchange". Look through them, make an account, ask support to add SMC to the trading. A lot of new exchanges will gladly add coins that are proactive in communicating with them, because that means that it is more likely that a coin is dependable and something that is good to trade. E.g., https://cryptx.io/, https://bittrex.com/

Look on this forum, go to services, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0. Find something cool, test it out, make some feedback, ask them to integrate SMC. E.g., https://www.coinpayments.net/

What about being added to a new coin market database? New things are coming out all the time. E.g., http://www.altcoinstats.com/

You can go to other forums, chat rooms, YouTube videos, and just mention SmartCoin whenever a crypto currency discussion is relevant. And not just advertising the name, but making the point that you can get coins that pretty much have the same underlying value as, say, LTC, but rather than for $10, or $500 like for bitcoin, for less than 1 cent! You can also make write comments on general financial news articles and blogs, where there is pro and anti bitcoin discussion going on, and also mention SmartCoin there so that people remember it as one of the first coins they learned about when they do decide to look into crypto currencies.

-Smartcoin Poker - Texas Hold'em using SMC as the currency

Marketing:
-Celebrity Endorsement - Some young up and coming actor or singer would be ideal.
