What great progress. If you don't have time to trade with electricity you can use a professional trader to do for you. He will be paid out of savings. If he don't save anything you have no costs. Using this is absolutely free. Great addon to platform.
On the last meeting, the CEO mentioned that the next market will surely be Italy. The legislation took more than they thought so plans are moved in the first months of next year. But everything is going as they said. Slovenia is a great polygon for testing everything. Platform have few hundreds if not thousands of consumers, those needs are covert by many solar and hydropower plants. At this last meeting, we saw a lot of interested new producers with a few hundred kW powerplants. They assured that they will join SUNCONTRACT platform. 2020 will be very interesting for the Slovenian part of the platform. I hope the next market will be available soon.

SunContract received funding from the government and European Union to develop P2P trading together with a group usually called "consortium". This means this consortium will develop artificial intelligence and automated trading on the SunContract platform in the next three years, which is a huge project that needs cooperation between a lot of different experts.
The funding will further help develop what SunContract is all about and is a welcome boost to our mission of bringing Peer to Peer trading and sustainable energy to everywhere on the world.

So, now the p2p energy trading is live, can anyone confirm if this actually works or is functional? Does it do what was originally advertised?
Trading going on for a year and a half now. This was first ever such project I believe first trades happened in May 2018. If you check past of this thread you will find one post about how much electricity was traded i believe in 2018 or was first half of 2019 compared to last year. Just check it.
What is new is that SunContract with some partners got this grant from EU: https://medium.com/suncontract/suncontract-receives-eu-grant-for-r-d-project-5cc2330c179e It will make development cheaper.
