You have a good idea as an entrepreneur for a crypto. You launch an ico. The market is growing, people invest. Icos boom. More and more people launch icos. Then there's a moment the market is not growing or stagnating, like now. So there will be way more icos than actually needed or put in another way, too much icos to get a piece of the cake. When entrepreneurs see the reward is not worth it to launch an Ico, less icos wil be launched, alot of existing alts die, so the market cleans itself. Until the market grows again, and the rewards to launch icos are worth the effort again.

Reaching at 92% of the threshold is big news and same interesting was the video the way it was presented. How they changed their toppers and filmed it looks like team has talent to create marketing videos as well for the project in future. This was good way to deliver the message on the progress in fundraising.

Babb aims to be a world wide bank for the micro economy, so would it need a partnership with a roughly similar type of competing project - I don't think so. It would be like McDonalds partnering with Burger King. I guess partnerships with institutions would make most sense.

Importance of this equity funding increases much more when we understand it benefits. Instead of relaying on traditional banks as dependents having own bank which is being designed to promote cryptocurrencies will show the difference. Just imagine a team behind the bank which want cryptocurrencies to go mainstream and to become usable just like fiat money. It is big step and will have big impact on the industry as well.
