Well yes. Not a lot of people have a banking account, and with that, it is very hard to keep track of your spending or savings. With BABB, they are making it easier for people who never had any bank accounts to open one and start saving.

If you look closely, most of the team have a lot of experience in the financial sector. Adam Haeems was working with Merrill Lynch before, which is a very big multinational financial institution. Jorge Pereira brings the blockchain experience to the table.

Hello kamiyama, thank you for those great questions.

- You can open an UK bank account regardless of your country and nationality, as long as it's not a sanctioned country.
- All that is necessary is that you provide identity information. Whether banks do it or not has to do with their own risk policies and their costs for validating your information.
- We do not expect to institute any minimum deposit balance.
- We do not expect there will be any maintenance fee for ordinary accounts, although we reserve the right to assess that for accounts above a certain amount.
- As a UK Bank, we will be able to offer protection to our customers deposits under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
- But more importantly, we run a full reserve, we don't lend out our customers' money, so we are not subject to risks from running a fractional reserve like other banks do.
- Regarding ability to open bank account - there are limits of course. If all we have is your name and photo and no ID, there are limitations on the amount held and transacted. But we CAN open the account within those limits.

In response to this, the selfie and voice print is actually just the first tier of the Social KYC for BABB. You would have access to some services but not all. If you want to fully unlock all services, then you would need to submit a government issued ID.

I was also amaze on this concept but they didn't put a detailed explanation how it works but maybe they will publish it on their whitepaper.

If this is possible then this project will play a big part on crypto.

Yes, that's the company, which is already an Authorized Payment Institution. BABB is currently pursuing a UK bank license with the FCA.
