I was mining at IPO miner. I had 30,000 coins and they definately had the most hash. When the coin forked, IPO miner's fork would have been the largest by far and the correct fork. Obviously dev chose his fork, and if he doesn't make this right, I see the end of the coin before it even begins.
"Houston We've Had A Problem", so dev fix it. Ask IPOminer pool op for a list and re-imburse miners that were on the correct fork, not your fork. Myself and other IPOminer guys were the ones who informed you of the wallet crashing on staking and trying to help. This is not the way to treat us.

yeh i lost a lot of coins too on GCPpool, probably almost as much as you on IPO miner, it's gutting but that's crypto  Wink

Normally I agree.. the pool with the most blocks is the right chain. But not if they didn't update!  Then they are the ones on the wrong chain...
Since the update the blockexplorer had more then 10 connections constant and no issues at all. I can't imagine ipominer had a better network around their chain at the time. I tried connecting to them through addnode= and connect= etc. Nothing... no connection.. Their chain network was based on air..

And bloody hell.. Some people really show their bad attitude in here... Undecided

IPOminer did not update. Simple as that. They did not respond to my message at all.

After I updated the checkpoint server, they went on their own fork. He shouldve shut down the stratum and update. 10-15 min work. But instead they left it open and wasting hashes. I warned people not to mine there because of their fork.

Via PM:

You are one sketchy pos dev.. hope your scamcoin get what you deserve.

Wow.........................................

We did not stake one coin, please see the blockexplorer : SVmMK7gcKC6WxdfXStUDYKv8ZFuj1S83FP

I am actually glad you are out of this project indeed Wink We don't need people like you in here. Putting you on ignore.

I lost coins mining on the wrong fork as well. I don't make any demands, however. It happens in mining. Carry on.

+1

it happens i'm more annoyed at ipominer as they didn't close the port quickly switched to my backup for an hour instead of 6-8   Angry

So you put over 50% hash on one pool and thats why it should be the right fork? Maybe its time for poolowners to refuse hash that goes over 50%. Maybe you are right that he who owns most hash is always right but then maybe your are not. Maybe he did not update.

Wow.. I cant believe your saying that... since the moment the chain started moving again, ipo miner forked from the original chain lol... It seems to me they did not update to the latest source... when you dont update... shit happens... lol

Lol, whatever... I was here the whole time... the chain stopped for almost 2 - 2.5 hrs... that kind of shit happens when there is something broke which is needed to function properly... It does suck though...  Undecided

Yes that sucks man... but the dev was on top off it from the moment it was reported... he stated multiple times that ipominer was on their own fork... Undecided

On top of it?  The only time the dev mentioned something about the checkpoint server being a problem was like 3 hrs after reported. and it was probably before that when the problem started. just first report was then. ALso, the hashrate jumped exponentially during this "problem" when the blocks were not getting confirmed.
around 8:30 when it was reported, then around 11:30 when something was mentioned by the dev.
Just to report, staking is now working, crashes stopped.

There we're some serious issues with our Checkpoint server  Embarrassed So I updated the pub/private keys and it appears to be ok.

I think it is all fixed now. I will monitor for an hour or 2.

Have not slept all night (morning here now) What a night haha

New wallet link will be ready in a few minutes
edit: windows wallet link updated to latest version

Pool operators please update to the latest github source
