Spliffcoin Takeover
As the development of my game server is nearing the end, I would like to announce my takeover of the Spilffcoin project! Considering this currency is going to run the economy in my minecraft server, I figured "Spliffcoin" wasn't the correct name. Instead I have decided to rebrand it. I won't be releasing the name to the public until I have created a new ANN topic. In the meanwhile, I need one thing from the community so I can get that ANN thread started. Some graphics and support. I have compiled a new wallet with the new name. However, it still has the original Spliffcoin logo which has brought me to a roadblock. My photoshop skills are very basic and I know there's some very skilled/talented people out there that would have the ability to help me. For some initiative, the winner of the logo contest will receive 20,000 coins!
For the general public, I have decided to make this announcement early for two reasons. One, there's still alot of mining to be done. Two, you may collect cheap dumps from
safecex. This means a level playing field for both miners and people who don't have expensive mining hardware.
For fellow minecrafters, my server will give you the opportunity to earn crypto in-game! The theme of my server will be a drug server. If you're unfamiliar with these servers, google "minecraft drug server" and go play on one for a bit. They're loads of fun and they're 100% economy based. Unlike other minecraft servers that accept fiat currency for donations, mine will not. Everything in-game will be accessible via the new coin! You will have the ability to withdraw and deposit coins from the server instantly!
For graphic designers, I'm looking for an png with the dimensions of 1000x1000. Preferably, I would like it to be a simple vector but if it's not and I like it, then it really doesn't matter. As the theme of my minecraft server is drug based. The coin needs to symbolize a drug deal. Some ideas include a scale, stack of money, handshake or fist bump. I'm not entirely sure what I'm going for but that's why I'm leaving it up to you. As I stated, the winner of this contest will receive 20,000 coins. That's a pretty good amount to start staking and become a stakeholder.
I hope you're all happy to hear this coin isn't dead. I see on the block explorer, there's still alot of people holding onto their SPL. Until the release of the new ANN, all further discussion will remain in this Spliffcoin thread. Cheers!
