@B8888. Ok but I will only believe it when it is there. So far from what we have seen there are no real successes with Bitshares and Steem except that they made a lot of bitcoins out of them by dumping their shares. Will they make new coins on their new platform again to dump on its users?

@doriangray. You are right. Many will loose confidence in Steem with Daniel Larimer leaving the project. Why did he leave and in what manner did he leave? Did he slowly dump all his coins and then declared he is quitting when he was out of coins to dump?

This looks like another flagrant scam if you ask me. I heard Dan is a good programmer. He will regret doing it like this.

Larimer I suspect has other big things to start working on in the Cryptonomex eco system. Steemit is a piece of a big puzzle imo and everything Larimer has done will be great. You wait and see my brother.  Cryptonomex is a dark horse and has created great tech.

this coin has already dump a lot, whether it is time to pump, any good news for pump here?

No pump just a minor increase in price, STEEM is currently up +40% in the last 24 hours.

NEW STEEM BASED APP IN DEVELOPMENT NOW ON GOOGLE PLAY: *This is an Instagram like experience backed by a blockchain.

Steemit biggest problem is not being mobile friendly. I bet the App thing if true, will be a game changer.

Keep wondering why people thisdays consider things with great potential, they do not understand a Ponzi scheme.  How could you call Steemit a Ponzi scheme when buyers (articles consumers) &  Sellers(Article Writers) are actually transacting VALUABLE businesses on the platform. Or did you just assume it's a Ponzi scheme because it encourages people to invest to get more out of it? Maybe you could show me any real company that doesn't do that?
The guys at Steemit already explained how they make money and I think is quite sustainable.

"Buyers (articles consumers)", really? No one has to buy to be able to read an article on steemit. You get no real value from buying STEEM, nothing. Voting power you get is not relevant compared to the first insider miners and developers who instamined this coin. They even stake their holdings, to make sure it never evens out. They decide what goes on the frontpage and what earns more money.

It's not even a fitting blockchain to be considered money or a store of value.

With Bitcoin, token holders get no benefit from hoarding it except being able to manipulate the market in case they want to daytrade (this goes for every currency in the world), with STEEM, as mentioned already, early instaminers manipulate everything from news to issuance of new tokens.

I bought STEEM @0.00131307BTC  and now 8888sat Huh

I think Tony Vay FUD is having impact on this project, I too looked into the project the financial structure is not sustainable on the long term, instead of the team to come clean on this and admit their error they decided to patch the problem but on the long run it is going to surface again. I think price is going below 5000sat soon

Steem has literally the worst ponzi-like structure I've ever seen on this forum. With Bitcoin, the more people buy in the more it's worth and with it, its infrastructure grows aswell. After a time you will be able to buy stuff with Bitcoin thanks to the network effect and "no inflation" (rate of inflation is known, it's low and calculated with in the price), also people have to actually invest into mining infrastructure.

With STEEM, lets take a scenario where we have the exact amount of people as on Facebook, should they all earn free coins with shitposting? Who will buy the coins of people who earn with reposting rephrasing random articles that you can read for free on the internet? You need buyers on a side so your coins are worth something. Why even buy those coins? To gain voting power on a random redditlike forum? Who the fuck cares about these things except basement dwellers? Not a single retail chain will accept a thing like STEEM, there is no value in it.

And after all these thoughts comes the part where there is inbuilt hyper inflation. STEEM is creating money out of thin air, there are no economical questions, it's just utter shit and a moneygrab for the Larimer family.

1. 'Busy' is a platform build on Steem right?
2.Will Busy use Steem's currency as it's currency? Or will it use it's own?
3.And why is there only a little thread? Is there another one? It looks like nobody uses Steem at all which what you guys claim is booming.
4. How do I hold Steem if I buy from Poloniex? Can I transfer it to a wallet?
5. A vote is worth money, but if I want to vote I have to deposit money?
