I think there's a misunderstanding in terms of total supply for this coin.. I think there should be more clarification, as there's only ~4mil at the moment.

and in my opinion, this coin should've started at ~10k and should be trading at 15k-20k.

Usually cryptos can estimate total supply because they implement a block reward reduction algorithm that just reduces coins to zero within a time limit, aka the supply curve.

In Talkcoin the market decides the block reward so its up to you and the other Talkcoin users what the supply curve will be.

Some people have suggested this will mean TAC supply increases exponentially as miners vote for high rewards and others say the supply will dry up as investors vote for lowest reward.

But neither of these is likely as they would hurt all TAC users in the long run, so in reality the market can adjust the supply to whats right at that time with the current demand and price which makes us more viable long term.

To illustrate this, voting is done by TAC holders (investors) and miners....If investors vote for a too low reward, mining drops as its less profitble which hurts the network and lowers demand (and therefore price). If miners vote for too high a reward, too many coins will enter circulation and the price will drop too. Therefore investors and miners have to balance supply to both be profitable.

Currencies need good decision making on their supply, depending on the use and growth of the currency.  We implemented this system because we think the TAC market is going to be better at making decisions than an algorithm written before the coin launched.

When comparing Talkcoin to other cryptos with fixed supplies, remember our market is free to implement any supply curve we want from any of the other cryptos through the voting system.  So if the market wants a hard cap it can implement this by voting for it.  We just don't set a restriction now on what the best supply curve is going to be like other coins, therefore we can't set a figure for something controlled by the market.

So I encourage everyone to vote for the block reward they want at that time.  The more people who vote for the actual block reward they want (and not try to second guess other people) the better the results as we will be.

That was nothink special. Later price will explode

How long do you think it will take for the price to explode?

Give TAC couple of days. In the end of June TalkCoin team will release new wallet with new, really unique features.
For now, I recommend to buy some TAC Smiley

Finally good to see a coin get the pump and investments it deserves. Bound to fall before exploding. The added feature and wallet have not even been released!

TAC is innovative across the board: from newly introduced POW algo, miner and features...the perfect scenario for a DRK scenario re-run!!!

Hodl and buckle in. We are going to go for a ride Cool Grin

Dude I can't thank you enough.

I was struggling yesterday to configure my miner cause what's written at the beginning of this thread wasn't helping and I managed to get my rig last night to 4 MHs per GPU on my R9-280x-es but with your compiled miner and your config I'm getting 14MHs+ per GPU

I cannot get this stable at all with my 280x's Could you share your conf? Would really appreciate it. Get dead/sick workers and windows crashes

Run intensity 20, core clock 1050, memclock 775... Nothing else...

Go up in steps of 10 on core clock until you find breaking point...

Actually I have been experiencing the same issues as you, but here's what I did, moved down a bit the engine, I'm using Cgwatcher to monitor the miner and because the miner crashes around every hour I just set Cgwatcher to reboot the miner every hour. I lose around 10-15 seconds max per hour with the reboot and delays but I haven't had any outages since.

my config (I get around 13Mhs per GPU now which is quite fine Smiley):
