i will never exit hempcoin!
we have to do something! any ideas?

I have a "forever gift" tool that will allow multiple people to scan the same QR code and get some THC. The number of times the gift can be scanned and the amount of coins the gift gives can be changed online at anytime. This will be a useful tool. Twitter connect and tweeting rewards are coming soon as well.

The crazy thing I'm learning is... not many people have qr code scanner apps on their phones!!!!!!!!! I thought everyone had a qr code scanner app on their phone. Also, the amount of people who don't have mobile data on their phones is stupidly high. I swear only 10% of people I meet have mobile data. Once everyone has mobile data on their phones I think cryptocoins are going to go crazy.

Anyone have any ideas for new projects? Right now is a great time to buy a bunch of THC and get more involved in a project.

Looks like alot of people have exit THC 8(

I doubt any serious person is exiting THC. Just some fools is all.

I personally don't mind this price drop. It will allow me to buy cheap THC to give away on hemp.cash for social sharing.

In case anyone cares, THC is marked for delisting on c-cex.

I like c-cex because they have the merchant payment system for online stores.

There's just no one using c-cex for THC though.

I made the paperwallet. Right now I'm busy with the "website login style wallet" and enjoy working on it. I'm about to add paper wallet features into the online wallet. So you can click a "save" button and save ur coins into a paper wallet. I also want an import paper wallet feature.

Anyone who wants to have access to the paperwallet github account can work on it. I had cool plans of adding features to the basic paperwallet site. I thought u could chose between templates and sizes. Ones that fold and close, ones for low ink, different designs, one where you need the red see thru paper to see the code. The reason I didn't switch to blackaholics paperwallet design is because it uses way too much ink. I wanted to give an option to use it but never got around to it.

There are many feature you can add. There is no php. It's all serverside javascript. There are way better brainwallets that you can add into the site.

Let me know who is interested on working on the paper wallet site. It's a pretty easy project which you can make more difficult if you want. It's a good way to learn about wallets and get into crypto programming.

I think you should write this up as an article and submit it to us for our publication, this would be a good story about your coin.

Could it be changed in a way that the public Key would be in front and the private key would be on side to fold and hide? That would make so much more sense.

It took too long to send coins to all the paper wallets. Paper wallets are also difficulty for a normal person to import. The HTML5 wallet is going to handle promotions 100x better than the paper wallets.

Paper wallets are useful if you want to securely store coins.

I just tried out the paper wallet and can confirm it is working. It took a long time to importprivkey, like 5 minutes. It did work though.

What happened to this design? That looks much better and has the info on logical positions. Smiley

The shine is easily removed, don't worry about that.

The source file isn't a vector unfortunately, like I've said I'm no graphic designer, it's easier to deal with image. The full sized image is 512x512 but it wouldn't take much to get someone better than me to improve it later. I'll give it a shot converting it but don't get your hopes up.

Here's a full-size coin without shine

Any thoughts?

i agree with vesipyks, the layout should be redesigned to fold into thirds, so that the 1/3 (on one end) will have the privkey on it and be folded under the face 1/3, to be taped/laminated, you could cut the tape with a sharp knife to open it.
also, there's a lot to be said for designing proactively twards using minimal ink; transparency, simplicity, etc ... printing out 1k of these could use what? maybe $30 -$50 dollars worth of the stuf ...

This coin has the best block explorer. It has third party cloud wallet support with social sharing.

There are talks about a source code update soon.

This coin is really cheap = the best time to get in.

I forgot to mention... I took down forum.hempchain.info a couple days ago.  It was getting hit hard with spam in other languages.  I don't have the time to manage a forum and it looks like this thread gets the job done for the most part.   If this makes anybody want rage quit crypto all together, I'll gladly turn it back on if they want to manage it.. My guess is, nobody will miss it.  haha Cheesy

we wouldn't mind managing it if we could place our ads in some areas

Hey killsig,

If you have time I would like to see if it's possible for you to create a list of all the hempcoin address with positive balances.

This would be required if the developers wanted to go the route of starting a new blockchain. They would premine the next blockchain with the current coin count and then automatically send all the coins back to the coin owners. It would be like 1 blockchain with full transparency except there is an old one and new one.

I can see what I can do!  Super busy at the moment, launched cryptobucket.com not that long ago and busy with work but I'll get something going! Smiley

I may have to confide in lemons a bit. I've never really liked the current way the block explorer is grabbing balances because I end up seeing negative balances with certain addresses..  Because there isn't technically balances, I'm pretty sure this is normal, but it fu*&s with my head.. lol

Baaaah, If I had a buncha BTC, I'd be buying right now.  <- not trading advice, just my thoughts. Smiley

If you could figure this all out so there is full transparency between a v1 and v2 blockchain, you will get the title of BLOCK EXPLORER MASTER OF THE WORLD.

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) will probably want you to work for them soon.

LOL, dude.. You're hilarious.. haha  always make'n me laugh!  I did make the block explorer more or less coin agnostic besides maybe a few variables that are hard coded as "Hempcoin" so heck, throw a few more versions on there. haha Wink

CSIS... lulz!  The "commercial crime unit" showed up at my door when I was 18 ('98) for reasons that pertained to my usage of my 14.4 modem.. haha, I'm probably on a CSIS watch list alright, just might not be the "hiring prospects" one...  hahaha
