This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on November 14th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.  Cry Cry

I emailed Bittrex about it.

must of worked, the message is now gone.  Thanks.

This looks like an automatic message that appears on any coin with less than 1.4 BTC volume in the last week. It costs money for an exchange to list a coin so coins without volume aren't interesting to bittrex. Fees on volume transactions is how bittrex makes money.

This means THC needs to have to consistently have 1.4 BTC volume per week or it will get de-listed on bittrex. I don't think bittrex cares if the volume is real or fake, they just care about getting the fees from the trades.

Exactly, it's automated and expect it to stay on the THC market page for a few days after the 14th, even with the required volume being met. Just keep an eye on the numbers for the week. As long as Trex is making their money, they don't care whether volume's real or not, because it's all real in Trex's eyes.

No one is getting rich from these awards ( unless they put them in their sock drawer for 5 years ), it is just a fun incentive for mining at hempfield.

Notice this is labelled as the '1st' HRAC, I plan to do more in the future.   Wink
If you have any ideas for future HRAC categories, I am all ears.

Please remember the pool operates at 0% fees and is solely funded from generous donations.
The more coins you donate, the more often i will do the HRAC rewards.

Thanks again for all your support.

GO HEMPCOIN GO !!!

Thanks for that. I appreciate the generosity.

I left a 10,000 hemp coin paperwallet tip for my waiter tonight. I wrote on the back "Keep this in your sock drawer for 5 years". I hope he wasn't mad. I didn't leave him anything else as a tip. I also hope he keeps it for 5 years. I even laminated it for him.

You da man!! Next time mention to put it in a fire safe so it doesn't burn in a fire  Grin

As part of our research on the idea of a possible source code switch and coin swap we should all list the coins that we think are the best to switch over to.

I actually don't know any good POS coins so all I can mention is:
reddcoin.com

Important thing is implementing multi-algo, base can be anything. NVC is very advanced code in my opinion (that's our current code), Redd is good too.

I can't find any multi-algo coins with POS+POW. Do you know any?

Multi-algo would be a great feature to add. All miners would be able to support the network. I would want to support sha256, scrypt, x11 and keccak. I don't see a point in trying to support a cpu only algo since it'll be GPU soon after. Do you know if its possible to remove and add algorithms after a multi-algo coin is launched? I would want it even. 2 ASICs algos and two non-ASICs algos. Once x11 goes ASIC then that would be 3 to 1 with ASICs winning.

Because none exist yet. We would be first.

I would like to keep things simple. Scrypt + ASIC-resistant algo. Nothing more. I think more algos wouldn'tgive us any advantage and would only complicate things.

Every algo has advantages, 2 which standout most IMO opinion are Keccak and Groestl.

I think keeping things simple is a good idea, as my prof used to say KISS; keep it simple stupid :-)

I can`t comment much on which algo to use, but my thought would be to pick the one that uses very little resources so it can run smoothly and very well on say mobile devices with ease.  From my understanding, future algo changes would be possible, so if ASICS come out for whatever "ASIC resistant algo" is chosen, then we just change it again. no ?

just a thought.

Your professor was smart Cheesy

Yes, future algorithm change is possible, in case some manufacturer announces ASIC for algorithm we use, we will switch to new one.
Most available algorithms are sufficiently "lightweight" for phones. I wouldn't even consider those weird algos which use gigabytes of memory.
