I want to buy some more THC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like it might be back on bittrex in 12 hours. That would be the earliest. It would be up to them when they feel comfortable enough to enable it.

conf as OP #1486..... PM'd getpeerinfo as hate to see long text on forums
thanks

that's what i have... and still i find a block, it will get accepted but never confirmed.
it's as if im on a different blockchain or something.
will need to dig deeper.
if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

that is what I was thinking... can you confirm if your wallet is on same block as the explorer ?

you could also delete the blockchain and let it re-download again.... obviously backup wallet.dat first.

Are you running wallet on Windows or Linux ?  My windows is working perfect and my linux one is currently downloading the block chain, currently @114832..... will let you know if I notice anything on Linux wallet.

only other thing I can think of is the repairwallet command.... honestly not exactly sure what it does, but I know it has helped others (diff coins) with somewhat similar problems ( definitely backup wallet.dat before trying this )

scratch that perfect statement... just looked closer and I am getting orphans.. still yet to have a block fully confirm..... hmmmmm.

hempcoin-qt and hempcoind both compiled successfully on linux... (32 and 64 bit)

The new client is downloading the whole block chain from scratch.. is this required?
Should it be able to start from the synced blockchain from the 1.5 client?

I did git clone yesterday, but saw that there were a some updates today, so I did a git pull and reran make for both qt and hempcoind.

I let the version from yesterday sync, and there was no THC in my wallet, nor any transactions.
Today (after updating,) I see transactions and some unconfirmed, but it's still syncing.. so I'm hopeful this time..

If the 1.7 client does require a fresh sync, then is it possible to copy my whole .Hempcoin directory from one machine to another so I don't have to sync twice?
How about if the source is a 64bit machine, and the target is 32bit?

Thanks!
The new client looks very nice!

It re-dowloaded the whole block chain on all three of the computers I use. It took about 1 hour for me to download the block chain. There are lots of connections on the network. I never tried copying the new blockchain to the other computers, I just let it re-download on every computer.

thenk you very much for the fast answer!!!  Smiley
now im scared to use coin control... can i do something wrong?
and for what is it ?

you cant do anything bad, but wrong... sort of.

coin control gives you the ability to select which of your coins you are sending.

for example:

you have 200 coins in your wallet, 100 of them are 44 days old and 100 are 1 day old.
**coins acquire age as they sit in your wallet, if you send them anywhere (even to a diff address in your wallet) this will reset the coins age.
you now want to send 100 coins to the exchange, by default the wallet would send your oldest coins ( I am pretty sure anyways) which would be the 44 day old ones.
this now leaves you waiting for 44 more days until your new (1 day old) coins are able to stake.

With control, you can specify that you want to send the 100 (1day old) coins to the exchange so that in 1 day your other 100 ( 44 day old) coins will start staking.

hope this clears it up, if not let me know.

Thanks.
