Ok here we go..

This is the new 1.7 wallet:  http://hempcoin.org/hempcoin1.7qt.exe

Also here:  http://hempcoin.org/hempcoin-1.7%20%20final.rar

This will fork at Block 190,000 so everyone needs to be on this wallet.

Any questions PM me.

Bittrex will be on a little after the fork

PLEASE EVERYONE UPDATE TO 1.7

I was solo mining on the new windows client 1.7. I had found a block, it went to immature, it got to 48 confirms and then went back to 0 out of 6 confirms.
same here
i think i will wait till the fork to mine

actually, scratch that
we need as much mining power on the 1.7 as possible, so that it is greater than that of the "old" chain
putting my 14Mh/s on it

Please put all your hashing power on the 1.7 so that it becomes the longest chain
i hope that will solve the constant orphans

I had the same thing happen with 7 blocks.

Any news on getting back on Bittrex?

Once it forks at block 190,000 the block reward halves and bittrex will add it back soon after.

Any news on your pool that you are working on? Stonerpool is causing problems right now because it hasn't updated to the mandatory new wallet. A new pool on the updated wallet would be great right now! You would probably have all the hashing power at your pool and be the #1 pool for years if it was ready right now.

back on the new wallet previous blocks found with new wallet are holding true..newer blocks found using old wallet are orphaned...so yes 2 chains and stonerpool (if you are getting orphans) will be on the old chain.. diff on old chain was .6 so still many people using it.

Oh and well done to all concerned!  wallet and website

ok, im on block  189484 FYI, this is the new chain (v1.7)
we need to notify exchanges about the fork and new chain

Big updates to the website!!
http://jusorganico.com/hempcoin/

More to come soon, then we migrate the hempcoin.org.

As always, any feedback is welcome.

looks awesome !!! dont have time to look at it very much right now, but noticed the logo is different from the wallet.  I am not sure if we nailed down a logo that everyone wants, i chose the one I liked, but not many others said anything.

lots of progres past few days for hempcoin... great work team.
It's slightly different, I'm doing content for now. I'll leave that to kryptologist as I'm not too familiar with Joomla but thank you.

add in something like this to the css to make the logo a lot smaller and to appear only in the top white bar on mobile devices:

Code:

@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {
#logoimage {
/*make it a lot smaller so it fits in the top white bar*/
}
}

look at it on your mobile phone and you will see what I mean.

yes... We all need to get on the new wallet !!!!!!

I will assume there are two chains, one with old wallet and the other with new wallet.  I suspect stonerpool.com is on the old wallet....

Anyone mining on stonerpool.com should get off it right away and start solo mining...

If anyone is not sure how to solomine, I will post a tutorial shortly.

edit:

Just realized I recently PM'd a tuto to someone recently... here it is...

Assuming you are on Windows, you should have your Hempcoin conf file looking something like this:
* it should be here C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Hempcoin\Hempcoin.conf

rpcuser=hemp
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcport=42000
port=12345
addnode=54.186.62.109

- rpcuser/rpcpassword values are like what you use when connecting to a pool. can be whatever you want.
- rpcallowip should be the IP address of the computer running the mining software. in this case, its the local PC.
- rpcport is the port your wallet is waiting for connections on.

make sure you relaunch your wallet after making any changes to this file as it only reads it on starting up.

this is the config you would use on your mining software to solo mine on the wallet, in this example it would be as follows:
   {
                "name" : "HEMP - solo",
                "url" : "http://127.0.0.1:42000",
                "user" : "hemp",
                "pass" : "x"
        },

** note the "http://" and not "stratum+tcp://"

you wont see any accepts on your mining software until you find a block.

Let me know if you have any issues.

ahh    sorry I've made a mistake   as I said I was getting orphans and reloaded wallet but I was so used to clicking a certain icon and used to the way the old wallet looked I forgot I was back on the old wallet. Hence the old chain before the fork. I presume many more are the same as me (over51%) and hence you are receiving orphans as rejected by the blockchain. Sorry will try new wallet and report...ouch

conf as OP #1486..... PM'd getpeerinfo as hate to see long text on forums
thanks

that's what i have... and still i find a block, it will get accepted but never confirmed.
it's as if im on a different blockchain or something.
will need to dig deeper.
if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

that is what I was thinking... can you confirm if your wallet is on same block as the explorer ?

you could also delete the blockchain and let it re-download again.... obviously backup wallet.dat first.

Are you running wallet on Windows or Linux ?  My windows is working perfect and my linux one is currently downloading the block chain, currently @114832..... will let you know if I notice anything on Linux wallet.

only other thing I can think of is the repairwallet command.... honestly not exactly sure what it does, but I know it has helped others (diff coins) with somewhat similar problems ( definitely backup wallet.dat before trying this )

scratch that perfect statement... just looked closer and I am getting orphans.. still yet to have a block fully confirm..... hmmmmm.

i am running on win 8.1, wallet v1.7.0.1
i must be on a different blockchain
it shows im currently on block 189446,  (wallet shows up to date)
http://beta.hempchain.info/ shows block 189458

just noticed that too... im with you, now on 189450.... :-( figured I wasnt that lucky to get so many blocks.....)
