who runs hemppool.org ?
is it still up?
it looks like its not reporting stats for the last week
i would volunteer to take it over and make it a 0% fee, donation only pool
let me know

The Dev has a company running it (livechains.net). They specialized in running pools. They posted this past week that they weren't accepting new customers and it sounds like they are about to close up shop.

I haven't been able to vote on Mintpal very much the last couple days, but I'm back on it today.  Lets get some activity going on Hempcoin.

hey guys, if anyone's interested and don't have a mintpal account.

I've opened at POT faucet for people to collect and trade on mintpal, then can be eligible for voting.  Then you can keep voting for THC.

let's work together when we can.  keep the movement going.

POT Faucet: www.sillypothead.com/potfaucet

THC faucet: www.sillypothead.com/thcfaucet

I have other faucets and will look into adding more later on.  any recommendations or suggestions welcome.

Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks for this.  It's a great idea to help get people voting.
are there any hempcoin millionaires? (ie do you hold more than 1 million hempcoins)

I know there are a couple hempcoin millionaires, but I'm not sure who they are.

thanks for your work
sent you a block worth of hempies

Thanks a lot aws, I appreciate the coins. The devs seem to prefer a lighter colour for the background, and have asked for it to be lighter. I too prefer the darker.

If anyone needs any artwork I have uploaded everything I've made for Hempcoin to date here: http://www.speedyshare.com/M93A9/Media.7z

Don't forget the faucet and the subreddit.

Everyone must be taking a break from hempcoin at the exact same time. It is not dead. This is a coin that is going to live for decades.

It does look really good.

The shine on the coin looks nice for this one use but if I use this coin in other things, like 3d renderings, I wouldn't want it on the coin.

Is this coin a vector? It should be made as a vector so people can resize it for their purposes. I personally want to blow it up to 4 feet by 4 feet, glue it onto a Styrofoam circle and spin it around on some sort of small battery machine when I go out to promote hempcoin.
The shine is easily removed, don't worry about that.

The source file isn't a vector unfortunately, like I've said I'm no graphic designer, it's easier to deal with image. The full sized image is 512x512 but it wouldn't take much to get someone better than me to improve it later. I'll give it a shot converting it but don't get your hopes up.

Here's a full-size coin without shine

Any thoughts?

Created a sub-reddit because Hempcoin needs a community to survive and the current sub-reddit is run by an apparent scammer.

Two snakes are wrong. The rod of asculap, the medical one, is only one snake.

Two snakes is the rod of hermes, helper of liars.

this happens the best ;-)

all the best
Daaaang, really? Thanks for the tip! The hospital near me uses the Rod of Hermes. The design doesn't look nearly as good with the proper one so for now the incorrect one stays until I can come up with something better.

Made an accepted sticker/whatever

edit: I messed up and placed the wrong version of the coin on the accepted image, updated it and added donation images in a bunch of sizes.

I like the darker background of the first image above

57660 blocks

5766 x 1750 = 10,090,500
5766 x 16750 = 96,580,500
46128 x 250 = 11,5320,000

Total : 118,203,000

So that is the total supply at this moment. It will continue till we hit 250,000,000 and then some more coins will be added using the growing season, or is this the total number of coins?

Very difficult to say, maybe i need to read the source code Smiley

1% of 57660 is ~ 576

here is the calculation at block# 100,000

# of blocksreward# of coins
2007,0001,400,000
20063,00012,600,000
19,6001,00019,600,000
1003500350,000
100315003,150,000
98005004,900,000
65017501,137,500
6501575010,237,500
6370025015,925,000
TOTAL:69,300,000

this agrees with 'getinfo' moneysupply of roughly 78 mil (currently at block 95,390) as there are some PoS coins.
for the PoS coins calculation i would need to consult the source and/or the blockchain

i would like to start accepting hempcoin for payments on my website, even though i do not sell hemp products.
is that kosher?

I'd say that there won't be any problems with that.

Am i going to be the first merchant to accept the coin?
is there any code to help me with that or do i need to have it written for me?

As of right now, nothing specific to Hempcoin but I'd talk to Moolah, of Moolah.io & Prelude.io, for help. Most of his work is open-source, and really breaking down the barriers between online and the real world when it comes to cryptos.

I'm doing my best right now with building a mobile wallet, but my experience with making apps is limited. Doesn't help much with easy conversion and pay, but it's one step closer.
