Its amazing how folks try to keep THC down on Bittrex. Folks putting several sells up @ 100 coin increments and cheep prices. Then they sell a few to make it appear cheep in price on all the coin price websites. lets buy those THC when they are cheep.

That's fine and all, I've been doing whatever I can to keep it moving up but what about everything else that needs to be done with this coin?

Did you guys ever get those vendors you were talking about with me? I just feel its only fair that you keep your supporters in the loop.

You guys are all high if you think for one second any level of government would accept an unregulated currency for selling pot, medicinal or not. 99% of people who sell weed otherwise get paid in cash, and that's not changing either. Besides, what benefit does THC provide over any other coin for buying weed, other than the cute logo?

This is already happening as there are Potcoin ATMs in dispenaries...

people were saying almost the same thing about bitcoin in 2010

Crypto is new. We are looking at this being a main form or currency in 2019 and later. Over time it will become uncontrollable. Kids today will grow up and laugh at the older adults for using what we do now.

This coin will do well over time. Once there is a standard open source scrypt POW+POS android wallet and cheap scrypt ASICs all over the world then things will start looking really good for THC. I am in on this coin for years. Crypto is small peanuts in the real world. In 5 years this coin will be the main hemp currency. This coin will also be almost POS only after 5 years. It will be like 97% mined.

POS is newer technology so this coin is always going to be lagging behind POW only coins in terms of real world use. POW only coins have years of open source code at their disposal.

Scrypt has years of testing/study by the smartest people in the world and is known to be the most secure cryptographic hashing algorithm with this level of study by scholars. Scrypt ASICs are coming. This coin is going to be good when open source POS code starts coming together and more people have ASICs.

Switching to x11 would have been cool a few months ago but now I think staying scrypt is the best choice for a long term future. Switching to x11 would probably allow all of the good people here to dump their coins at 1000 satoshi but then a bunch of jerks would have all the coins instead of us.

I have tried out the new x11 optimized miner and now my rig is running pretty hot. It is possible that the x11 miner just isn't optimized and one day soon x11 mining on GPUs will be running as loud and hot as scrypt does.

There is no big rush, only 1% of people know about bitcoin and 1% of those people know about other cryptocoins.

Also i calculated that it costs me on average 74 satoshis to mine Hempcoin just to break even
(this calculation only assumes 250 coin blocks)
so to support Hempcoin i don't mind selling all that I mine on Bittrex so we dont get unlisted
let me know if anyone is willing to buy at that price

i got an idea
how about we raise funds to buy some network hash capacity
5 Mhs devices are about $800 USD
we can mine Hempcoin with it with the proceeds going to a Hempcoin Foundation
what do you guys think?
Sure, but how do we go about raising funds if we aren't on good exchanges? I mean there's other cryptos and cash but that's not really the point.
I think it'd be better to invest in a proper mobile wallet, I'm not having much success. I'll keep trying but life is busy.

Also what's the second post all about?

good point - i just thought we raise BTC or good all fashioned $$
i could take a look at the mobile wallet, where are you stuck?

the 2nd post is just to show at where the network was at that particular time.

I also have some ideas. Switch this coin to x11 or go full POS. Maybe x13? Launch a website that sells hemp related products and accepts THC as payment. Put some marketing behind it. Announce it to big players.

I like this, how do we go about procuring the hemp products, i could get involved with the website but i dont know anything about hemp products.
im not sure why X11 would help us, X13 is awful, i tired it once only.
full POS i dont understand at this point of time, who confirms the transactions and how - i guess i got some learning to do

i am giving some coins to friends to spread the word
but people complain about wallet not syncing in windows
im a linux guy, so im not a windows expert
there is a .conf file in the appropriate folder with the addnode(s)
what else needs one to do in windows?
It works fine on windows, they just need Hempcoin.conf in their AppData/Roaming/Hempcoin folder. Definitely needs to be added to the installer, and then have a second binary free of installer. A lot of coins have this problem.

we need a team, we cannot just put it all on the one Dev
a single person can never make a coin successful

Isn't Potcoin being carried by one person? Either way they just got an ATM installed in a dispensary, possibly two, and a massive price spike. The call to action just got louder.
