I have my wallet for a long time already....

When I need to resync, this is ALWAYS painful and takes
at least 2 or 3 attempts after deleting the old files,
installing an (old) bootstrap... to finally be in sync.

But, my current attempts to sync my wallet are totally UNSUCCESSFUL.
I tried 5 times, and always stucks around 184 000 blocks.
This time stucked at 184 549

What is the solution?

My wallet version seems to be the last one ...

Is there a recent bootstrap available for syncing issues?

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlrLVPXsPKw1gcU7kA4nMEFGV0DJ1g

made today, it will take a while to load.
I'll take it offline in a day or so

thanks buddy, appreciated.

I would have hope that someone from the development team would have come in the thread to answer....

sorry to tell but this is a shame all those project in which dev team in not communicating appropriatly.

I'm holding a very large amount of THC, and my faith in the project has been dropping consistently since early-mid January.

Are there any reasons at all that should prevent me from withdrawing my funds and putting them into another project?

I don't like that the Devs are anonymous, that their self-imposed deadlines are not being hit, and that they are not active at all in their community. This is feeling more and more like a 'shit coin'.  Embarrassed

I will add that I'm also holding a lot (not as much) of Tokes, I find that to be a far better prospect at this point. They already have partnerships and an active vendor. Considering jumping ship from THC entirely, despite not wanting to.

I am aware of a new THC project to help in the defense of the  high Profile case of Dr Carlos Laje who started the first Marijuana Clínic in Argentina. Laje Is a eye doctor and has been in jail since September 2017.  The project administración are asking for wallet donations to colaborate in this high Profile case AND then in the clinics efforts. tTat may add much needed value to thc. I stress the high Profile media atention of this case.  Laje's father un law, grandfather of his daughter ( succesfully treated of Glaucoma) is the high Profile politician De la Sota in Córdoba.

I totally agree. Dev are too anonymous. They aren't communictaing with investors. I am worried about the future of this coin from how they distance themselves from investors.

Or,  Is there a community that actively talks about the future of THC ? I cannot find any talk going on in Telegram nor Reddit.

That's the exact reason to dump the coins once and forever. Nothing seems to be transparent about this so-called project.
HOWEVER, I'll wait for Feb.23th just to see what's going to happen after the fork. Btw, I won't be surprised if it get delisted on Bittrex.

what will be the impact on the hardfork on this project itself, in terms of gaining more user acceptance?

Bittrex seems to support the hard fork but I guess we can't know for sure until they officially announce it. Bittrex likes blockchain projects like this where there's "Zero Pre-mine" & the coin is the utility. This hard fork looks good to me. Hard forks for substantial upgrades like this are good, it's when coins do swaps to steal users coins that it's bad. I think it's good to hard fork out Scrypt PoW mining at this point. It's not a very environmentally friendly way to secure a blockchain. 45% inflation a year is pretty high. There was a lot of dilution going on. 5% seems alright & more in line with other blockchains.

Overall the hard fork sounds pretty good to me. I do wish there were more details released about it though.

I'm using the new THC wallet now. It contains the new feature that tells you how much your reward will be within the next 60 days. But i am a bit disappointed about this result. When i do calculate the reward for 1 year it turns out to be just 5 %. But 5 % is too low for my taste.

In the past i've understood that the reward would be 5% for 45 days. So that there would be a reward of approx. 47 % per year.

So what is true now ? Is the THC reward just 5 % per year or 47% ?

your right, looking at the OP, it could cause confusion, but the rate is 5%/year

It's a pretty standard rate: NAV's the same, as are many others. A little more than the bank. Smiley
