Another question concerning restoring old THC's:
I've imported two old wallet.dat's into my wallet, but the balance is still 0.00 THC. So where is the mistake ? Does the wallet not work properly ? Or do i need a win64bit wallet again, before i can restore my old balance. I've only tried this restoring on a win32bit hempcoinwallet which tells me each time that my keys were all imported, but the value of balance remains at 0.00 THC.

So what am i doing wrong ?

If you still have a private key you can try to imprt the key, check the following tutorial:

this hard fork mean it will have an new thc and a old?
like btc and bitcoin cash
or it's just an improve like bitcoin cash did last month?

Yes, that's what a hard fork means. There will be an improvement of the old coin for which a creation of new coin (with better, improved features) will be needed. The new coin will be the (hopefully) better, new version of the old THC.

Maybe you aren't synced fully. It takes an entire day to sync the blockchain.

I think the Hard Fork will be used to upgrade features and the old one will be gone. I doubt there will be two different hempcoins listed on bittrex but it's possible.

Sorry wrong language. I am a bit disappointed that the balance is still standing at 0.00 THC after the second synchronization. Could it be that i do need the win64 Hempcoinwallet to restore my old THC balance ?

Has anyone experience with wallets or does anyone use them ? Right now i see more disadvantages in them compared to paper wallets (which i have not used before).

I've found another hempcoin.dat backup, but that has been created 4 days later. I have changed the .dat into a .txt and I'll to import it. All keys have been importet. Again the wallet is out of sync, now. I hope it'll start to syncronize as it did it before and that this time my old THC balance will appear.

Look at this steady face, especially trend line. got in @680 but left at 1000, came back at 800s
and went to sleep with a stop-loss, it's still going up.
Looks like it'snot going down this day either.
I encourage everyone to get in with a stop-loss.
Worst case scenario: you lost %1 percent,
Best case scenario: moon

I've sold 20% of my CCN to this high prices now, because I believe it will fall within the next couple of days. CCN has no good news of their own and it does only profit from the upcoming fork from THC. So there won't be a real reason for CCN to stay so high within the next couple of days. May be CCN will produce later their own good news (what i do hope) and this and much higher prices will be justified.

Back to THC:

My win32bit Hempcoinwallet has been synchronized now and is working. I was very surprised that this whole hempcoin synchronizing happened so fast. I thought it would take me a week or two until this would happen. So this is really a good news.

I've imported now my old hempcoin.dat backup from my win64bit Hempcoinwallet and got the message that all of my keys from this hempcoin.txt have been imported. The sad thing is that my balance is still standing on 0.00 THC. I thought that there would out of a sudden appear my old balance. That is what i imagined. I have never restored my old wallet backups before. This is my first time.

Richt now my wallet is again synchronizing 1 243 233 blocks. I don't know why it's doing this. May be this is necessary before the old balance appears.
I don't know. I'll wait and see what will happen.

Funny,

The top % change on Bittrex today is all the weed coins lol. As soon as THC announced their fork/big news/overhaul etc. the others started to pump as well. Mind you I think they are all coattailing off this and will phase out over the month or stabilize here while THC actually does have a 10x possibility. I'm charting stuff right now and it looks insane re gains for the month. I'll try to post it at the THC reddit (it's currently kinda dead, please join it and pitch in over there too to spread the good word: https://www.reddit.com/r/thehempcoin/

"Hemp produces $600.00 per acre and you can harvest four to six times a year. Corn is -$2.00 per acre with farm subsidies" -
Interview Oct 20, 2017: (From 41:00 is very eye-opening)

Sgt. Joshua Lee (Ret.). After his deployment, Joshua enrolled in the VA system, “just in case.”
Six months later, the issues started with a diagnosis of PTSD, Inflammatory Arthritis, and Fibromyalgia. Eventually he was prescribed up to 27 pills a day which included dangerous narcotics, opiates, muscle relaxants, SSRIs, benzodiazepines, along with pills to control all the side effects of those drugs. After experiencing withdrawals for the first time in his life from addictive medication which the industry insists are safe and non-habit forming, his wife urged him to research medical cannabis.

On their 15 year anniversary trip to Colorado, he was able to experience life again in a manner denied him for years. Upon arriving home, he took a picture of 9,828 smarties to represent his annual prescriptions from the VA, and posted it alongside a lengthy essay in hopes of starting a conversation with a few friends and family. One viral campaign on Facebook, Imgur, and Reddit later, he was presented an opportunity to change the future of Missouri. Now as the founder and Executive Director of Veteran’s Alliance for Compassionate Access, he is fighting first for medical cannabis in Missouri.

Can Hempcoin be stored on a Trezor? What is the best way to store Hempcoin so it can be taken off an exchange for safe keeping?

Coinomi has a mobile wallet for THC for every day use. You could try a paper wallet for long term storage.

Thanks

This is how Coinbase explains how to backup on paper with alt coins, below, granted it seems to be for Windows and not any other OS (what to do for iOS?) Is this advisable for Hempcoin, below?

"Exporting private keys from altcoin wallets

If you want to create a paper wallet for a lesser-used currency that doesn’t have an address generator website, there is still a way to achieve this.

What every alt-currency does have is a variation of the Bitcoin-Qt wallet application.

Goto the ‘Receive’ tab, where your wallet addresses are listed.
Right-click on the address you wish to save, then copy the address to the clipboard.
Click the ‘Help’ menu and select ‘Debug’.
In the ‘Console’ tab, enter “dumpprivkey” and paste in the wallet address.
The console will then display the private key of that wallet.

You then have the public and private keys of the wallet. You can print these ‘as is’, or you can opt to generate QR codes to print.

However, the wallet details will still exist in your computer. The only way to remove them it is to open your file explorer in the ‘C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\[Wallet App Name]\’ folder and delete the ‘wallet.dat’ file.

NOTE: this will remove all addresses held in the software wallet, and you should make sure that there are no funds remaining in the other addresses you will be deleting.

Now you should be the proud owner of an unhackable paper wallet for your digital currency. If a paper wallet is not for you, however, you could use your own mind with a brain wallet."

https://www.coindesk.com/information/paper-wallet-tutorial/

What you typed will work.

There's also this page: https://hempcoin-paper-wallet.github.io/hempcoin-paper-wallet/
For 100% security, you would want to save that open source paper wallet website to an offline computer/printer that will never go online ever. You can use it online with your normal printer but if your computer/printer has a virus, there's a chance someone could get your coins.

*note* I'd move the "wallet.dat" file to a USB flash drive or SD card to keep before deleting it from your computer.

Does anyone else want to mine THC?
I'm mining over here--> http://164.132.101.2:8080/ , but I have very little power and will never find a block by myself.
If not, are there any other working pools that someone may know of?

Avira tells me that my new downloaded hempcoin v.2.0.0.1 wallet (...\hempcoin-win64-April'17-.exe) is infected and contains
the pattern of "HEUR/APC (Cloud)".

Therefore I can't install it and therefore i can't use my old backup hempcoinwallet.dat to check how many hempcoins i have stored in this wallet.

Any ideas what to do now ?

LOL nice try to create a negative view of HEMPCOIN

I don't believe he was trying to be malicious here, I came across a similar thing where Kaspersky blocked the website and I'm sure he just wanted to be safe as no-one wants their coins stole. False positives happen.

THC (Hempcoin) is the future of cannabis coins.

CCN cannacoin is a far better pick up at the moment.

I wouldn't buy CCN that sounds like a news channel, THC is such a way better abbreivation I'd buy some just on the name alone. It also has this fork with dash.

THC seems to be the most developed of all the weed coins.
Just went all in.

Very risky move but if you really understand the potential of this business I guess placing much bigger stake and expect a bigger rewards will happen, seems that the update really create a big impact to this coin and the value soaring up until now.
