OK ..I'm tired of the lack of visible progress of my beloved hempcoin and so I plan to do something about it..
We look a shambles to any incoming interest from investment to what is a very marketable coin, our OP is a mess and there is no clear roadmap or path ahead. No business is using THC and there doesn't seem any ongoing plans to promote it.
Well I plan to do something about it, hopefully with the help of the community.
I have just acquired the domain thehempcoinstore.com and plan to run an outlet for hemp products and community services with the currency being solely THC. I will start off small maybe selling badges and gradually add products such as hemp clothing items and toiletries.
This plan has been mulling around my head since the coins Genesis. I have made many prospective approaches to hemp retailers and manufacturers over the years , all with positive response.
I think now is the time to bring hempcoin to life.
I don't have all the necessary skills to make this happen but trust me it will.
I have experience in running a successful online shop for 10 years, marketing training in college and plenty of Go..
Hell I've even bought some land and hopefully given a grant of a licence will be growing the stuff.

all the fixes should be in place this weekend. i had to translate out of the joomla shit that the person who wrote it used back into regular code. so its taking like a week or so. u can PM me for some collaboration if you would like
Check out purse.io. It's my favorite bitcoin site. Very easy to use. It has a bittrex style wallet where you can deposit funds and withdraw funds. The secret when running a website like bittrex or purse.io is to create a bunch of offline wallets. Back up all 1,000 accounts, or how ever many you make, on paper, usb, sata, sd cards, etc. Do this all on an offline computer. Then load those public addresses into the ecommerce database and assign each user an address. You then keep refilling a hot wallet for withdraws. There probably won't need to be much in the hot wallet for an ecommerce store. You then need a blockexplorer to calculate users account balances.
An important thing to notice is that you use the ecommerce servers .hempcoind to build the block explorer and send out funds. You don't actually use it to handle incoming deposits. Incoming deposits are handled whenever you want to bring those offline wallets into a different .hempcoind/qt on a private clean safe computer.

there's no installer for our QT, just archive or delete the old one and put in the new one and run it, do make some kind of backup first, ofc

minimum stake time is 45 days. so if you staked all your coins you have to wait 45 days to stake again
OK, I guess my question would be this: Shouldn't the Staking icon still show as active, even if the message was something like "Next expected reward in 45 days", rather than showing the inactive icon and the message "no suitable inputs were found"?
edit: Never mind, I think the potcoin wallet answered my question. It gives the response "Not staking because you don't have any mature coins".
BE is now up to date again. There are some POS blocks so it seems that staking works fine.
