How do we do a community take over for this coin? Anyone have experience ?

Fork the code and continue development.

I'm a full stack developer doing Web/Windows/iOS/Android and would be willing to work with another developer experienced in Crypto development to revive this coin.

PM me if anyone's interested.

Have similar thoughts as the post above.

DEV - we know you were committed as we saw consistent support of the coin early on.  Let's fix this coin and bring it back to life, you have a small but a very committed community here on this thread. We are willing to support this coin - lets bring it back to life!

There were some issues syncing:
I just got 4 more nodes up, would help if other people brought up their nodes as well..

DEV - I think the link to the latest wallet went down, please post a new fresh link to latest wallet build so people can bring up additional nodes.

Let's resolve technical issues first then we can talk about generating web/marketing/graphics assets and moving this coin forward.

I feel this coin has future and the community to support it.

DEV - let us know if you have the time to support the development, if not perhaps we can get another community dev to give a hand. let us know.

Last version of the wallet also does not work for me.

Able to sync very slowly w the previous version of the wallet v0.0.1.2 - syncing for last few days able to get to block 14044.

Going to setup 2 more nodes as advised in earlier posts.

I cant help by laugh that the Dev logged in again today.

Come on Dev.  Give us a shout out.  Even just to say merry Christmas Smiley   I only speak for myself but I personally enjoyed participating in your coin, despite its flaws, until you started giving us the silent treatment.  Where's the trust?!?  Undecided

This was a strange coin to participate in for me because for way too long the dev kept coming back sorta trying to fix the coin but no one really seemed to care and then it all just kind of stopped.  Dev logged in yesterday too? weird

I was able to sync 100% today, and the wallet recognized the last block from a minute or two ago. No more red "out of sync". So like I was saying in earlier posts, syncing is 100% up to date even when the red message appears.  As Split PoS progresses, times in between blocks should get consistently smaller. Currently on block 73054.

Addition: Dev, to help alleviate times in between blocks, can I suggest sending coins to yourself once or twice (or more) per day for 20 days?  If a bunch of TRS holders do this rather than just the dev, it will be better for the network. If we see the red message, we should send coins to ourselves. Otherwise, it will take more time to overcome the pauses in the chain naturally.

I can help but I really need valid peers.  My wallet is getting stuck..

Can we get a list of valid peers on the correct chain?

The blocks are now generated is still slow. While it is impossible to completely solve the problem. Test several versions now, but the node has not yet updated.
Error wallet - verify, setup OS later on a virtual machine.

8.1 pro x64, worked fine before deleting contents of appdata

Has anyone been able to sync?

can't even open the new wallet, crashes on boot:

Code:
Assertion Failed!

Program D:\.........
File: src\main.cpp, Line 2583

Expression: block.GetHash{} ==  (!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet)

any ideas? was running ok but i tried resyncing (delete appdata content) because i hit about a hundred pos blocks in a row and figured i'd forked

On what operating system?

same error on mine as well.  Same OS

Has anyone been able to sync?
got up to 70230 today. I don't think a block has been found since, if no one has staked.

synced up to 70263 today. 33 blocks in almost 2 days, either no one's staking or everyone's on their own forks haha. But from experience I can say the wallet is 100% synced but just says "out of sync" because blocks haven't been minted recently.
