UBIQ news will be released today/tomorrow (confirmed by team member in slack) retweet this:

A good news -in my opinion- would be the support or a announced partnership of UBIQ from TenX (https://www.tenx.tech/), which looks more than just promising too.

Hopefully, it is not "only" about investors, which push the price (and thus the difficulty) further up after Holiday season.

Egoistically, as I am ... I would like to still mine one or the other UBIQ before it hopefully goes to heaven Smiley

Look Morty magic internet money
hello,

New to Ubiq! It got mentioned in some article I read with some other coins and this one was the only one I didnt knew so thought let me check it out.

Read the op and roadmap and some pages of the tread. From what I understand there are some consensus lv changes made to the protocol. So what are these changes exact ? We have the different mining algo. But dont seem ant other changes listed on the OP? probably is me though, maybe someone could highlight some things? Or point me in the right direction?

How is ubiq in regards to scaling for example ? How is it different than eth in regards to launching icos/ dapps on the platform?

Three posts above yours, I posted a two-part interview with a member of the team. A LOT of information in there that you might find useful as a primer, and links to their slack etc where you can ask them these questions directly.

thanks meccaflare0 and BadAstroZA will check it out

Ubiq seems a interesting project. I am still trying to find the advantage over NEO. Are there any incentives planned to hold Ubiq?

Blockrewards are decreasing each year , so you could say it will get more value each year - so good for holding.

The DAO philosophical failure and Ethereum network split opened the door to competitors on smart contract blockchains. Ubiq is the strongest: immutable unlike ETH, and with a brand focus away from experimentation and toward corporate professionalism. Once the Ethereum ICO craze breaks and that platform loses trust, Ubiq’s secure network and failure-free track record will present it as a viable smart contract competitor.

Ubiq has an upgraded codebase, newly-designed difficulty algorithm, monetary policy, and several million-dollar projects running as tokens on its chain. Additionally, it was launched in a spirit of fairness with zero ICO or developer premine. Currently valued at less than 0.5% of ETH’s market cap, Ubiq provides a top-tier alternative to ETH at a dramatically cheaper rate.

Hi guys, what do you think about price jump. I made maybe a bit stipid choice and sold half of my ubiq coins at 3.1$.

I hope it will fall a bit so i can rebuy them.

I sold everything..hoping price will drop back and I'll buy back cheaper.
Hope to not get fucked Sad

sometimes it is better to just forget some coins. i did not realise that the price went up that much.

to 0.00074298sat @bittrex. and now the price is down @0.00069329

i bought @0.000436 and won't sell now. the potential is huge.

That's a great entry! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. That's why it's all about having the right entry and then hodling risk-free, as you say, forgetting about the coin. Keeping them in a wallet helps with that for sure. At an exchange impulse can be strong to make a quick sell during a chaotic dump for example.

Difficulty will go crazy when the price will go up up up.. Smiley Can't wait for this to happen :p

Is there some problem with ubiqpool.io, because on my rig it shows me mining speed of 143 Mh/s, on the pool just 99 Mh/s??

Any idea?

Is there some particular news that made todays rise in price?
That would be really interesting because the difficulty increases so strongly the last hours.

Goddamnd, I hope the whattomine listing & interest disappears fast, difficulty goes down again so I can still mine a few ubiqs before it really starts going crazy.

Hi guys. This is an awesome coin. Started to mine at ubiqpool.io.
Pool seems nice, just one question. Where can I change "Min. payout threshold" and what is the default payout threshold? Can seem to find it anywhere on their page.

I can see my mining info under the "miner" tag, "Your Stats & Payment History". But can't see how to change the payout threshold. Is it even posible to change it?

Thank you for any help  Smiley

It cannot unfortunately be done. The payout threshold is set by the pool administrator, the miners have no control on it.

All right then. What exactly is the threshold? I see on the paymentsinfo there are recent payments from 0.5 up to about 5.2.

which miner is the fastest these days?
thanks
In my opinion claymore.
My Rig Reports with Version 9.8 247.x mhs with 8 Cards running @1175/2200 with wattman, autovoltage, at a total power draw from wall with 1150w wich gives me roundabout 30,x mhs/Card at ~100w/Card (Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB Hynix)

But if someone knows a faster one please drop a line.
