Some misrepresentation has occurred here, and the dev needs to address it if this project is to continue.

I have done a bit of research and all 4 of the URO Foundation companies are a part of Green Earth Systems. They are not separate business entities. I can post clear evidence if the dev denies this, but a denial at this stage would be fatal for the project, so if he is serious about the project, I suggest he comes clean now, then the community can decide how to take this project forward with full disclosure.

There is no reason why this project can't succeed if the people behind it are sincere about achieving the social aims of the project i.e. helping Indian farmers, and the idea is strong enough to succeed without this kind of misrepresentation.

The dev should also declare his own relationship with GES.

None of the following four companies have any share holdings in each other: Green Earth Systems, Crown Team Corporation, Urea Trading India, and CCL Pillay Group.

danonthehill: please present the evidence that GES owns Crown Team Corporation, UTI and CCL or retract your statement regarding this matter.

My name is Bohan Huang and I am the Director of IT at Green Earth Systems Pty Ltd, which is a wholly owned Australian subsidiary of Green Earth Systems Limited (a Hong Kong company).

Share holdings in each other: no.   But can you also confirm that Crown Team Corporation, Urea Trading India, and CCL Pillay Group do not share an office address with GES or have employees/heads who are GES representatives in any capacity?

Uro: 1 URO = 1 metric tonne of Urea N46 fertilizer
Just a thought would it not benefit the farmers to have the ability to purchase a prepaid URO card, to use as A. Currency B. acting hedge trader. This negates the necessity for a computer, and direct transfer from individuals in any local could take place without a middle man. Effectivly rendering any farmer a potential trader in URO. Granted they can hold on to the urea, or URO card directly. These cards could also be in smaller URO denominations. They would be sold and handled like phone minute cards, I've been to many rural places in 3rd world countries, phone cards are as prolific as soda these days.

If the local distributor had the ability to accept say .5 of a URO and the farmer still had .5 left on his card, he could chose to hold or sell at will. Price fluctuations will always be inherent in commodities due to supply and demand.

Paper wallets and brain wallets are definitely part of the plan involving the wholesalers for the next stage. We have not thought about cards but thanks for contributing this. Wholesalers will be trained to use Uro electronically while less frequent users can make do with paper wallets. If the Foundation donates Urea it would be in the form of Uro paper wallets, and Uro will be purchasable from Urea wholesalers.

For many farmers - understanding markets trends, cryptocurrency, finance, etc is a big problem indeed. However, if we just introduce a paper wallet which they can buy and hold as a certificate for Urea - then that is something everyone will understand. The best thing is that these certificates can be verified against counterfeiting due to the inherent power of the cryptocurrency network.

"The best thing is that these certificates can be verified against counterfeiting due to the inherent power of the cryptocurrency network. " Absolutely, the blockchain is such an elegant solution. At some point they will need to be scanned electronically though correct? An extra layer of i.d verification would lock it all in.

Yes the paper wallets would have a verification QR code, signature and address just like Bitcoin, which trained wholesalers would check with up coming software we are developing (a lite SPV wallet with 1 click buttons for common operations - yes they can manually type in the code/addresses/commands into the current full node reference wallet but its all about reducing the barrier to adoption).

At this point, ID verification does not appear necessary and would add curb adoption just as it has done for Bitcoin (to buy BTC with fiat at the moment you usually have submit documents and wait days for them to be approved by the exchange, and many choose to just forgo the experiment altogether because of this hassle).

Dev What happens to Urocoin?

What do you mean? Everything is going according to plan. I answered a question about my identity, but apart from that Uro continues on our journey to revolutionize Urea trading worldwide.

Did you update to the new wallet after the fork? I sent coins from my wallet to Bittrex yesterday and arrived very quickly.

Yes I've only ever had the most recent version.

Actually what I've just realised is that it was an earlier transaction which appeared on the block explorer, and also in my client.

I have sent 3 withdrawals to my wallet.

1. Seems to be on new fork (no block explorer to check though) and arrived
2. Seems to be on old fork (shows up in block explorer) and arrived
3. Seems to be on new fork (not in block explorer), never arrived.

Which means Bittrex and my client are hopping forks... this needs sorting. I don't know how many of my coins I actually own, hoping it's at least 2/3rds.

Rami informed us that they were on the v1.0.0.1 wallet before the fork. Also, bittrex.com/status shows the correct chain.

Yes the block explorer is incorrect, cryptexplorer and altexplorer have both been contacted multiple times. If the situation does not improve in a couple of days, we will get another one set up.

So if I buy 12,500 Uro today on July 9th can I email the NIER with an order for 12,500 Tonnes Urea and they will accept, or are they only obligated to do so at some point in the next 10 years?  And who can sue the NIER if they don't honor the contract, The URO Foundation i.e. themselves?

The ratifying companies are obliged to supply Urea for Uro starting from 09 July 2014. If they do not, the purchaser can take legal action against the company - since they are breaking the terms of a legally binding agreement.

The Protocol states that the companies must allow payment of Uro for Urea purchases for at least 10 years. A few people have tried to interpret the 12,500 metric tonne minimum order requirement (which is for the purpose of making sure the vessel is full) to be some sort of maximum order limit - but there is no mention of such a limit in the Protocol and such interpretations are incorrect.

How many coins so far and How many total coins?

Total Units: 1,000,000 Uro over first 6 months, then 100,000 per year (to cater for anticipated 10% increase in trading volume increase per annum based on our projections of the Urea industry's growth globally).

I could be Bittrex was behind. I had a problem with them a week ago with MMXIV coin. Either way glad it ended well for you.

Thanks. I'm not very confident of sending coins back there until the network is a bit stronger though!

Waiting on the next block and hopefully the third transaction will confirm. The block times are very very slow - I take it the diff adjustment is a bit heavy handed?
It seems to be adjusting better then it was. Was over 500 difficulty earlier down to 359 now. Just the massive farms or FPGAs came in and pushed it up so high. Wish I farmed more back when this coin was released lol Difficulty was like 14 then.

Ok weirdly I have just received the third withdrawal, so panic (semi) over. I take it Bittrex is massively delayed (only one node connected it seems on their status page) - and that somehow my second transaction on the old chain merged with the new chain.

Either way, apologies if I raised any alarm but something definitely wasn't quite right for the transaction 10 hours ago to show up on that explorer and still make it into my wallet.

I have just resynced my wallet and the two transactions in there are both showing as confirmed. That is very odd, as one transaction shows up in the (wrong chain) block explorer (3 hours ago), and one doesn't (10 hours ago). I am still missing the third.

I fear there are multiple multiple forks here.
