why the mining shares stick at valid share in pools? sure the difficulty is high but they are there for about 18 hours!!!(hardcoreminers and upool)
are they safe?

i open wallet 4 - 7 times a day .
is no paswword for wallet from start.

and is no stake.
> "The higher the coins stake weight, the more likely staking will occur "

i don't undustud, i must have toons of coins for stake ?

>"more likely"

it is random or what ?

PoS blocks are generated in a similar way as PoW blocks but instead of using your hashpower to solve PoW blocks, you are using the coin's stake weight (a combination of coin age and the total number of coins eligible for staking) to solve PoS blocks. Just like solo mining where generally the more hash you have, the quicker you will solve a PoW block and generate the reward, with PoS blocks the higher the coins stake weight compared to others on the network, the quicker those coins will solve a PoS block and generate stake. Depending on your coins stake weight in relation the aggregate stake weight of the network, the time it takes to solve a PoS block can vary. The longer it takes before staking, the higher your stake weight and the more likely it is that staking will occur. The accrued interest is kept track of automatically and you don't lose any by having to wait longer.

Thanks for explanation.
abaut solve POS bloks, it  is in wallet or in network ? Hu solve POS bloks, miners ? or wallets ?

i have coins from 3 day ago, and is no Stake ??
when i download wallet is not locked.
anybody have Stake Huh

Yep, staking works like a charm.  Smiley

You have to run the wallet all the time and don't close it or shut down your pc, then the stakes will show up.  Wink

You don't have to leave your computer on for 24 hours with the wallet open for staking to occur. As long as you have coins in the wallet that meet the minimum stake age of at least 1 day and less than 180 days, the coins will begin staking automatically once you have sufficient stake weight (a combination of number of coins eligible to staked and the number of days since the coins were last staked). You just need to leave the wallet open and unlocked every so often so that staking can occur. The higher the coins stake weight, the more likely staking will occur and the longer the coins take before staking, the more accrued interest you will receive up to the 3.8% yearly amout or 8.5% annually during the bonus period.

Well explained! Thank you Vann Smiley

Does the staking work for coins stored at an Exchange Wallet?

Not for any that I know of. Although an exchange could stake the coins if they wanted to, I know MintPal has said they purposely disable staking for all PoS coins if possible and I believe other exchanges do the same. You need to transfer the coins to your own wallet if you want them to stake.
