The reason why there is no one to be put in place is because we do not want others to look at the source code or handle it any capacity and the team is based on TRUST. How would the news be if source code was leaked and someone else picked it up? That would be 100x worse than a delay. If the code is not protected the community and the coin is not protected.

I also don't get why they can't rent a replacement for a few days, then the problem would probably have been fixed.

You have to understand that the person is already familiar with the code.

A time frame is necessary, however. A few days, a week, a couple weeks...

Not saying it's you or anyone for that matter. I am just saying if that happened in a normal stock exchange, that's what people would totally think. It's just normal human psychology.

The impatience i see is crazy.

You do realize the Devs are real people with real lives right? and are people all over the world in different time zones trying to match up. That doesn't always happen as planned. MsCollec and all other Devs have always delivered, the first time they take extra time to make sure its 100% ready everyone freaks out. Relax, perfection takes time.

I don't see where the mistake in stating that this is a single point failure. It sure does feel like it's a single point failure and tazmania didn't say anything that the dev should work no matter what.

Also, who had the inside knowledge to pre-dump over 900k VOOT before the news of delay was released?
