AKA RJF - Since '14 - On line since '84
The team is comprised of 15 elderly asians and is the worst team in cryptoland. Vericoin fellows aint good at getting software out the door since they lack wisdom and technical savvy. Which is necessary for creating a shiny code.

Elderly Asians? What are you smoking?

I think the VeriCoin team is currently about 4-6 people. Theres more to a coin than a core developer. And everybody who has contributed to the coin is considered a team member.

If only I was 6'8 and named Lebron  James.  We can't wish for the world, fact is I'm 5'8 and fat and this coins development is an iceberg pace in an industry that moves faster then the flash.

VRC VRM ded

Every Alt which is making steady progress has a large number of developers and is recruiting new ones regularly.  The others are dying slowly.

I have been watching this for around 3 years, and am seeing the dev. metric becoming the standard yardstick for prediction of success. Passive 'community' alone cannot sustain alts.

It makes sense, because as the successful projects grow, they acquire a kind of 'gravity' that attracts the experienced talent, which is , after all, in limited supply. The other projects inevitably lose out.

How many true developers are working on VRC/VRM ?

Now imagine what would happen if we got some of those talented people on our team. Imagine how fast they would be pushing out updates and innovating vericoin to where it should be... Maybe we could be one of those AltCoins with a larger team. We already have a great team here.

Update on VeriSwap and Veriums role:
I think the true role of VRM will be a private commodity value storage and I'm actively working on building into VRC and VRM a decentralized p2p private trade between the two. When you go from VRC-VRM no way to trace the trade in the multisig transaction across chains I'm working on.  This in addition to Veriums role as part of VRC consensus.  So it will be like buying gold with cash, no trace and take it offline (put in vault). Once the mining updates, the new wallet, and the marketing plan are in action it will pay off greatly.
Also expect the announcement that Doug touched on in the interview to have a positive impact on both VRC and VRM.

That's all great but when.  Problem is the development is to slow so when something gets done  it gets pumped a little then everything stops till the next thing.  I understand the developers are busy but this coin isn't going no where unless they have people giving their dedicated time to make this coin better everyday not once a year.  2 years ago POST and nothing else this past year Verium and nothing else.   Until you have that this coin is going no where the development happens to quick.  It be better for them to give the keys to someone and stick around as an advisor but honestly no one worth keeping would probably deal with this coin.

I totally agree, which is why I put my own money out there to recruit a new developer to help share the load. We have a promising candidate who has been working with Doug and I. Hopefully, we'll have some cool stuff to share regarding messaging and anonymous sends soon.
