What has been taking place for the past couple of days is one of the many reasons cryptocurrency as a whole is having a hard time to make a dent in the financial world. We are flat out too busy attacking each other, my coin is bigger than yours etc.
Nothing wrong with reaching out to another developer and bridge the gap between communities, especially due to the open source nature of development in the first place.
For Cryptocurrency to move the mass, we need to respect other.. period. I make a point of not to trash another coin, because I respect the hard work they put in their products. I can't do what they do.
I gave the VRC devs my support because I believe in what they are trying to accomplish.
keep it civil ~
Who's trashing who's coin here?
Its the last 50 or so pages probably have had some attacks from people involved in other coins. But honestly, bringing up names and putting them down won't help VRC any. You have to understand many people in crypto hate VeriCoin right now, because think of it like this. Right now you have only so much cash in the crypto system (bread)
The money is not flowing into the system like it was 6-8 months ago, so you have people trying to get that money to flow back to there own coins. When they lack to innovate, they must take down another coins value in hopes of bringing up there own.
When you equate the money in that situation to bread, and starving people it all makes sense. If there is only so much food to go around, people who get hungry do desperate things. Do not hate them for being upset. They are fearing and rightfully so. Every alt up to the mighty Litecoin has been shaken recently. Now we ask ourselves. Did this money flow out of crypto? If so, it will not come back. Or, perhaps is it being prepared for a big re-allocation?
We all can make up our own mind what the next coin will be to make an impact on financial / normal people media. It was Bitcoin, the first. Then Litecoin, the alternative. Then it was Dogecoin, the popular sensation. Ask yourself, whats the next coin to impact the real world markets? Is it a coin focused on making it useful to everyday people? In my opinion yes. So you ask yourself if your of that belief. What crypto shows the vision, has the team, and is leading that category?
Its easy folks. Don't panic to fudsters on the hunt for your coins. Think about society and what it will take for crypto to impact yours. Is it a mining innovation that will excite your neighbor to try out crypto? I don't think so. But tell that same person about how they can use a mobile phone to pay for anything in the world with little to no transaction fees, anytime of the day or night. That sparks more interest. But the smart people get my point. I am back to the dungeon to develop more VeriCoin properties.
