To all the smaller miners: Please checkout vrm2.poolinat0r.com. This pool is designed for small miners around 1kh/m. There is a blockfinder bonus active, please note i will have to ban bigger miners farming there for blockfinder bonus!

Please small miners go there, you have your independent stratum setup with super small difficulty :-)

I feel dumb for just finding this, I always loved VRC (still one of the best wallets) This is a great concept you have here. The CPU miner is awesome and a great way to get all the new crypto enthusiasts started mining their first coin.

I've been meaning to upgrade my CPU (an old 3 core AMD) what should I look for in a good mining CPU? my board is an AMD3 socket so I'm guessing more cores the better?

The more cores the more hashing power you will have...you can still mine with a slower CPU at the vrm2.poolinat0r.com

I check it out, do I have to set up a different miner? or can I still use the in wallet miner?

I'll be getting an 8 core for my mobo in a few days, but I might use your site with my older i7 laptop

I'm sure you are correct - it was a lucky hit. I was trolling (a little). That said, the "Estimated block hit within (hrs)" has been as low as 88.* while I have been mining.

Still, I would genuinely like to know whether adding my 1K to a pool is going to be at all worthwhile.

When you hit your second block of 1000 let us know Wink
Nothing in this one: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vrm/block.dws?e09fed774cfdaf819bc8e8e23aaf364474ed5dd8286fabc1c410d454620a26aa.htm

This is why you solo mine verium: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vrm/block.dws?83320.htm Fees greater than reward!  Cheers to $1 guys!
Incidentally, how do you get 'fees'?

Got me a block: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vrm/block.dws?84057.htm

Took ~60 hours or so at ~1K. Can someone advise whether it would be more profitable to pool?

So I'm a little bit confused on this. Isn't it just pure luck that you would get a random block around 60 hours? Couldn't you be solo mining on an i5 or i7 for 500, 1000 or 2000 hours and get nothing?

If I understand this right, then you're basically rolling the dice and could be mining on a single CPU for a year and get nothing. Am I misunderstanding something?

Poolinat0r.com update

vrm2.poolinat0r.com is running and up.
Mining is possible and if it's saying payouts or anything has stopped there will be the same fixes like on vrm.poolinat0r.com

vrm2 is designed for small miners offering fixed automatic payout fees of 0.2VRM with a range of 10-19VRM. To keep this up bigger miners submitting many shares will have to be banned, sorry Sad
vrm.pooliant0r.com has a higher difficulty and with its vardiff port it is best fitted for bigger miners like datacentre, xeons, i7s or multi CPUs.

vrm2.poolinat0r.com has a low difficulty, so miners even with a low hashrate under 600h/m will see submitted shares every minute. This pool will give small miners the oppertunity to be a part of the VRM mining network as it is not very big Smiley

If you have any questions feel free to contact me here or on the slack group of vrc/vrm.

**************Blockfinder bonus on vrm2.poolinat0r.com**************
As soon as vrm2.pooliant0r.com has reached a total hashrate of 100kh/m or more i will manually active a blockfinder bonus of 0.51337 VRM/block for the blockfinder untill all 500VRM are used.
See the transaction of the 500VRM bounty here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vrm/address.dws?VBgtWzFEBsxaVHGKEW2A72mrSCm3jUUdka.htm

Happy mineing and please spread the hash!!  =) =) =)

More hash to vrm2.poolinat0r.com to unlock the blockfinder bonus!

http://vrm2.poolinat0r.com/
is up and running for smaller hash miners

It's so good news for small miners and  I will mine some coins with my Intel 24 core server . Is it worth mining with this server?
How many coins can I mine with my server per day? Thank you.

24 core server might be too much for the small miner port. Please refer to the current "news" on top of the dashboard. It has 2 vardiff ports. If you want to join with a bigger miner please use the different port as with big miners you might be destroying the stratum of eu2.poolinat0r.com. And this is something we don't want :-)
