as far as the wallets go, you may get different 'performance' with a wallet depending on what version (and patches) of windows you are using and about a million other variables too !!

if you guys want a whirlcoin-qt wallet that does not have the dll files built in I can make one, i could also compile it with older /outdated versions of things...

for example I could use boost 1_53_0 instead of boost 1_55_0 ect,,,,,

Normally the latest library of compiling tools is the best to use.

When you are referencing speed do you mean how long it takes for the wallet to start when you first launch it , or does it 'hang' if you go to send coins ect..... or something else.... Also if we are going to compare performance we should know if you are running win 7 , 8 ect... and if 32 or 64 ect...

reminder i am not the developer nor do i wish to be , just helping out this project since i like it and think it may have some potential. To those who asked me to make a block crawler i do not have the server resources or the time really.
I am sorry. if someone else has the resources i could probably code it but not until early next year as i am pretty busy with many other things now.

I am sorry i do not have the resources to run a dedicated node and server to host a block crawler and also I can build a block crawler for algotithms that are supported by abe but whirl may not be surrported. You could ask jtobey on github or someone else to help add support.

If i had an unlimited amount of time (sadly i do not) I am sure I could port it myself.

Nice of come back to us, wallet built by you is very stable, the "exit" does not crash as the official ver. We miss .ico file formatted and some graphics. One of the members already working on it.

someone asked me to make a wallet for this coin with a different logo, i had a few minutes so i did it, however since the person who asked me has not pushed the changes to the master repo or a cloned repo on github i cloned the repo here
