Adult content in general has a lot of controversial stigma to it, that will not change. Anything with controversy usually makes some big waves. The coin name, surely doesn't give anyone a false perception of what its used for though.
There will always be things to mention, I'm sure if the coin was titled, "(insert any other name here)-coin" it would be looked at as false advertising.
At the very least, the bottom line here is, no one can ever say we are false advertising with the coin's name.

There is an additional problem with this coin, which is an obvious one if you want a wider adoption of the coin. Its the name, wankcoin, may seem like a good idea when you made it but I bet that many serious operators will find the name vulgar and it will not be listed on major exchanges.

sha-256 or script doesn't matter,
right now all altcoins are tied to BTC (sha-256) and BTC is now a $ € (FIAT) bitch ...
maybe it worked at the start but since bitpay-bitstamp-& co are the new BTC FED...
old conditions can't take into calculation ...
regarding wankcoin (adult industry) they depend on $ € so we have a totally other situation
and sha-256 isn't a problem even ASICs are not a issue ...
you just need the miner for a working system.

Enlighten yourself with the conditions of other SHA-256 coins, what is happening to them? If WKC continues with SHA, at least lower the block reward. Also just read about what's happening to Litecoin and Dogecoin right now regarding the advent of Scrypt ASICs.
Mining is getting more efficient, outpacing the growth of a crypto economy. I guess the allure of making money out of thin air is still stronger than doing something with the coin.
Supply cannot outpace utility if you want the price to stabilize or increase. Investors will avoid this coin, if inflation is not controlled.
