BIG NEWS!!!!!The bitcoinR community has gotten XBR on an exchange:
https://erex.io/exchange/XBR/BTC/

I am not familiar with this exchange.  However, it is a very good sign to see XBR listed.

bitcoinR discord community growth efforts were very successful last week.  The community grew 20% in one week.  I do not think that level of growth can be maintained but it is still highly impressive.  Among them new members were developers, and mining pool specialists.

I suggest mainly doing marketing in China

I have seen you say that a couple of times.

When I look at R and its characteristics of having a Centralized Pillar and seeking Government Legitimacy as described in the initial Announcement Posting:
We are hopeful to provide value in a structured, predictable and transparent manner while cooperating fully with regulators in the United States if and when we are asked to do so.  bitcoinR is not a privacy coin, in fact it is the exact opposite.  It is important to get away from the idea that major cryptocurrencies are run by a mysterious shadowy figure whether acting alone or as part of a cohort with an undisclosed profit motive.

As a matter of full disclosure, we do hope to make a return on our time and money investment; however we do not expect this to come quickly or easily, and we will not get there by selling bitcoinR units (XBR) directly to the public outside of an AML/KYC compliant exchange.  For now the public can only obtain units via mining or bounties; and in the latter case they must provide their full name, address and contact information for us to do an AML / KYC check prior to sending the earned bounty units.  More detail may be found in the bitcoinR whitepaper.

I do not know if having AML / KYC compliance is popular with anyone in China.   From my experience the opposite has been true.  AML / KYC tends to be the most popular in US, Japan and Europe.  For this reason I don't see spending much energy on China being worth while.  However, if you think otherwise I think you should go for it.  Start Tweeting / Instagraming about it in Chinese and see what kind of traction you can get.

By harnessing the power of bitcoinR community from here on the Talk forum, from Twitter, from Instagram and the Discord group we can do a major community growth push.  This will help with all major bitcoinR initiatives in the future.

Not many people will be willing to donate, because too few people know this coin.
Not enough marketing.

You're right.  Lets increase the marketing!  Push the pedal to the metal!

The Project Party is development team.

The way I read the last message from the Development team is they are looking for increased support from mining community before pursing an exchange.

I am not sure what would make bitcoinR stand out in the field without the KYC/AML compliance.  What is the alternative in your book?  What would you do to make XBR differentiated from other cryptocurrency or Bitcoin Forks.

as for exchanges, getting listed only on exchanges that require kyc/aml is a big turn off.
at least put it on exchanges that requires no verification for small transaction (usually under 2 btc per day).

KYC/AML compliance is bitcoinR's raison d'etre.

hi, i saw your vid, was it sped up? because you mined a block right away, whereas i got none after i activated the miner for hours.
i also got confused by the address. in other coins, we have option to create new address, but in bitcoinr there's no option for that, the only way to get a new address is only throuh "request payment".
it's no biggie, but kinda confusing for people who aren't used to mine (myself, for example).
