Is it possible to make wallet sync faster? I have a speed of around or even less than 1tx/second. I run it one a week to catch up with the chain but even so - it takes several hours to sync. Actually no other wallets are as slow as this one. Even Smartcash finally improved the speed and now it is not fast but mediocre.

im just going to tell you guys the password to my account. it should have 200k+ on there. that will be the community fund. Please don't take more than you need and issue assets from your own accounts.

Don't do that.

You will regret the decision. Instead, if you want it held, we can help.

PM if you need to.

coinsmarkets wallet never got online........

btc38 i lost some and more due hacker manipulation... and I bet that one is someone big which should be in jail as any fucking scumbag

and if anyone wanted for REAL to fix XCN he would for it, kill hacked coins, do coinswap, or....... there are dozen of smart solutions

no, there are no solutions, coin swap won't work, "kill hacked coins" just doesn't make any sense at all.
please think before posting: study how a blockchain works, how the mini blockchain is different, and how an exchange works.
coinsmarkets opened withdrawals recently, for everyone to retrieve their coins (not only xcn but all the coins they had, which were all frozen).

Hmm, you can't have lost coins because the "hack" created new coins for the hacker. If you lost coins, that's a matter between you and the exchange and has nothing to do with the development.

Have you sell XCN in past 2 years, almost every exchange that hosed it was for manipulation and dumping hacked coins... whats the point of that chain, whatever the tech is same important is distribution and fairness, etc

coinsmarket added the it and never managed to credit any, btc38 was up only for hacker and for us is was down 90%, viatnamis exchange never got open for public and bter hell know what happened with them

99% manipulation come from china, as they prove to be ignorant and manipulative and cancer to whole crypto world more and more

the issue here is not throwing shit on us. if not rather what to do so that those things do not happen again. In fact, I do not think they will happen again.
the developers have no power over what happens in the exchange. if that happened it is solely the fault of those exchanges.
the problems of the developers were solved and they offered the collaboration to try to block the hacked coins.
I understand your anger. but I do not know why you want this project to disappear. because I also think that one day you put your hopes in him.

let's work towards the future It is what we can do.
what could be done was left behind.

Much better already ... but I have a slight point of criticism: I would use a "lighter" theme, with white or light background, at least for the parts with descriptions and other texts. I have nothing against dark themes, they look nicely "geekish" - but in the case of a currency homepage I think that's not a feature but a bug ... Wink

I wrote a txbot to exercise the network and gather some information about daemon load and network speed.
Nice, can it be downloaded somewhere? I have recently downloaded the newest code so I could participate in transaction load tests. Is mainnet used or a testnet? On mainnet I'm a bit worried about transaction fees as I have not so many Cryptonite to waste - or are zero-fee (or almost zero-fee) transactions possible?

This shit is still not dead?

Don`t mine it, do not bay it for your life, they scammed the shit from it!!!!!!!!

PS: i mined and seen 500+ coins this one is worst scam (hacks, exchange, etc and it all happen again for xx times!)

:-)
Thanks for your invaluable insight and precious advices!
You are really showing your rank. Great job.

You also know very well what happened dozen times, over and over again from hacks to exchange that only traded stolen/hacked coins... to exchange where we lost most of it (btc38, coinsmarkets, etc)
None was done to black list those coins and make exchange work for community and not for thieves..... as btc38, thailand and other did in past

I can't control what exchanges do. But I can do the best within my  possibilities, and that's exactly what I did and will do in the future.
Besides, both btc38 and coinsmarkets allowed withdrawals so they didn't steal any coin.
And we did all we could to block the hacked funds but we have no power over the exchange balances, because they are not on the blockchain but into their database. We contacted them and that was all we could do.

I wrote a txbot to exercise the network and gather some information about daemon load and network speed.
First of all cryptonite transaction are about half the size of the typical bitcoin ones. That means you can have about 8000 txs in a 1MB block. Note that cryptonite has dynamic max block size so that isn't the limit.
Second: the daemon, on a reasonably powerful machine, can handle 30 transactions per second and they are digested by the network without any issue. Memory pool was almost emptied on every block found, as expected.
Next step could be using the txbot on 3/4 machines and see if the network is stable, and how the block sizes increase.

We can help there mate ...

Though it would have to be under Centos 7 x64 - not Ubuntu.

#crysx

It's plain php, you can run it anywhere ;-)

Kool ...

We can run it with our systems if you need help with it.

We have many servers currently and can run any time you are willing.

BTC38 is a liar. They manipulate XCN prices by using developers to fix their wallets. Don't expect them to open their savings and withdrawals. Their customer service is out of the question.
